  1. i keep everything in front for easy access..but keeping extra stuff in a crate i think would be essential..
  2. heres mine.. not done yet.. looking for a crate set up..
  3. yes.. don't be afraid to put holes in your yak.. just use a rubber washer, and bolt the screws on.. then tighten the nut on the inside of your yak to be sure you don't rip off the holder. plain screws might not be a good idea for something you handle so many times.. just my opinion..
  4. oh man, today was great.. got a smallie and a nice 1.9lber.. the other guy i met up with caught one in between my two.. it was nice.. we even got carded by the Virginia Gaming board.. I was actually really happy about that.. Made me feel like I got my moneys worth out of my fishing license.. hahahhaha. I ended up asking him how the lake was and he told me they had just did another "stunning??" when they count the number of fish.. and he said the population of bass and other gaming fish are "very healthy"..so I had to ask.. where the hell are they.. he was very hesitant to tell me the "honey holes".. but i know now.. ;D ;D the 1.9lber fought like a nice 4.5lb catfish.. ripping out line, and cruisin under the yak.. a good day it was.. Unfortunately, the water level is getting really low.. we need some rain..
  5. Going to take the yak out for a (hopefully) great day of fishing!
  6. if you ever want to see the redfish 12 in action, your more than welcome to try mine out.. although, i have to admit i really wouldn't mind having a tarpon as well..
  7. If your looking for a quality SOT you can keep for a number of years, look at natives/tarpons/ocean kayaks/heritage/or hobies.. i researched this for quite a while before deciding on a heritage redfish 12.. If your looking for a fishing kayak, i personally think this is the way to go.. but that is again my opinion.. if your not doing much fishing on it.. who cares.. check out www.kayakfishingstuff.com .. a great link, and tons of help if you have questions.

My buddy Rob has the exact same yak, and i copied it from head to toe.. Absolutely no originality, but I love it anyways..
