  1. WELCOME ABOARD!!!!!!
  2. WELCOME ABOARD I have read an article in Bassmaster and seen it done on tv by Calif. Anglers. There's another subject in this forum called fizzing here's the link. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1177197017
  3. Tournament Pros's fish for the limit first then cull for the bigger bite so that doesn't surprise me that KVD has only two. The serious big bite angler may go all day without a bite, the bigger the bite the less you are going to get as compared to smaller more plentiful bites.
  4. Wow. : Double WOW!!!!! 25lb mono that's sporting. Denny Brauer uses 50lb braid when fishing heavy cover used at Champlain last year and won I guess he's INEXPERIENCED.
  5. I broke the tip off two of them and I mean I broke them off I returnrd them and they were replaced although mine was an online purchase I called and they sent a pickup slip as I remember it was about 5 years ago there was no BPS here in PA at that time. I'd take it back see if you can't get it replace. If you paid by credit card or check there's a record somewhere.
  6. Congrats on the new ride. I have the 2004 Targa 17SC with the 90ELPTO and I get mid 40's with just me on board no top though so you should get mid to high 30's out of her with just you on board.
  7. WELCOME ABOARD Awesome post.
  8. Nice boat and a great deal I wouldn't have passed it up it was a steal at $5,500.
  9. WELCOME ABOARD. Nice cats.
  10. WELCOME ABOARD.
  11. Awesome, Doesn't surprise me Bass eat ducklings and other small birds.
  12. Transplanting from public waters to private may also be illegal check your states regulations. Transplanting from private to public is illegal in PA.
  13. No less sporting than using live bait.
  14. Frog Toggs bib and parka.
  15. I really like the floating jointed minnow and the jointed Shad Rap. The Shad Rap is a suspending bait and should be fished as such to get results: A steady retrieve, pause, twitch retreive etc. any combo you want. The floater I use a fast retrieve with a twitch to make it dive when fish are more active or a slow retrieve, pause, twitch and go when things are slow.
  16. The fizzing I seen was to push the needle down the fish's throat rather then trying to puncture a hole in the belly you may miss your mark and damage some internal organs I think the article was in Bassmater mag. or it's website.
  17. Doesn't get any better than that.
  18. It's illegal in PA to transplant fish as well. You should use some swimbaits to attract bigger Bass that way you can find out if there are any. Transplanting may turn into disaster as you may introduce a diseased Bass into an otherwise healthy pond.
  19. Flash and vibration are the two keys that the blades give as the body and skirt give the lure bulk something easier for the Bass to see when attracted to it by the blades.
  20. I was going in that direction but wanted opions on it in case anglers found it effected the action in a negative way. What size hooks work the best? Thanks Guys

    Me too
  22. I hear ya, Me too I actually ran my boat from the dock to see how far it would work I was surprised. I did have another angler onboard just in case.
  23. I recently purchased the Ultimate Bluegill, Crappie & Sunfish I noticed there's a place to put a treble hook on the belly. Does anyone put one there?
  24. WELCOME ABOARD. If the water is that clear say you can see 20ft down I would use ghost colors on jerkbaits fished very slowly and pausing for a 30 seconds or more and don't be afraid to downsize a Pointer 78SP in ghost colors is a good start.
