Falcon has a neat Jig storage box sold at BPS. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_90577?cmCat=CROSSSELL&cmid=PP_P1_2
  5. ongrats Muddy Man good catch.
  6. I have and used the Bionic Blade, Extreme and Johnny Morris Edition rods all excellent rods in their price range wait for the sales can't beat the quality at their sale price.
  7. 6 months, 16 months I never said that but over winter it works and is recommended by the Tracker dealer for all of the Mercs including the Optimax there's a reason it's called S T A B I L I Z E R it does just that keeps the fuel from going bad for months I guess it's your choice not to believe that but it has proven itself without a doubt that it works. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers but in PA water gets stiff and my outboard won't run on ice so that stuff has to be used I do try to run the tank down as far as I can on my last outing but I never run it empty.
  8. Here's another comparison, It's cheaper to run a 10,000 BTU A/C on 220V then to run one on 110V a 12V motor will not last as long as a 24V motor which will not last as long as a 36V motor I have a 74lb 24V motor which lasts longer than my friends 45lb 12V motor using the same size batteries my boat is 17'-4" long and 94" wide where his is 16' long and some 70 inches wide maybe this may shed some light.
  9. Cabela's fish tank in Hamburg, PA got the BPS tank in Harrisburg, PA beat hands down it's not even close so if your ever near Hamburg, PA stop in. Keep in mind the the thick glass for the tanks acts like a magnifying glass everything inside will appear bigger to those looking from the outside. You got away only spending $40? How did you keep the Bait Monkey at bay?
  10. Thank God I don't have to worry about that in PA although they did find one frozen in Northeast PA several years ago Authorities surmised that someone had it for a pet that got to big and left it go on it's own when they opened up it's stomach it was said that it was eating pretty good had it been able to burrow under it may have survived the winter what a thought.
  11. I believe the point is that they catch fish no matter what we all compare them with everyone has their favorite and not so favorite soft jerkbait so the choice is up to you what you want to use. They do work.
  12. Your wasting gas, I guess you never heard of stabilizer I use it every winter have never had any problems.
  13. Same here that's what Mercury recommends.
  14. BPS carries a brand, Here's some links. www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=46123&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=15139&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults
  15. If it was a recent purchase I'd take it back and see if it can be replaced for free or contact Rapala for a replacement.
  16. Dido, I have them and use them they do catch fish when Bass are feeding on Shad they work as well as any soft plastic jerkbait out there.
  17. Nice job, Congrats on a good trip.
