  1. Must have been a small Bait Monkey a Squirrel Monkey as it were.
  2. Welcome Aboard
  3. TACKLE WAREHOUSE!!!!! I'm guessing you mean a straight up tackle shop otherwise it would be BPS & Cabela's.
  4. Here's something to think about. Tying to the split ring will allow your lure to have a wider wobble as to tying direct to the lure which will give a tighter wobble I did do the experiment by running the lures just below the surface and the difference was visual.
  5. Just let the Bait Monkey decide he knows what you need.
  6. Here's another one for you. I was fishing in a friends pond with a Poppin Image topwater bait my line broke with the lure still in the Bass's mouth. A few months later my friends Son found the bait and only one hook on each treble was gone as if it where cut off at that spot or disolved while in the Bass's mouth. I was given the lure and I still have it somwhere in my basement. I have been told on more than one occasion the fishes body chemistry not the digestive system will disolve the hook almost like steel has a chemical corrosive reaction with aluminum in which the aluminum wins in case you wanted that bit of useless info.
  7. Must have been a Peeeeeasing experiance.
  8. GREETINGS AND FELICITATIONS
  9. I would have to pick 2 catagories. Just being on the water and catching a fish go hand in hand with me.
  10. I don't and have never had any issues with using them. It's a personal choice as far as I'm concerned try it for yourself with them and then without them let your own experiances take root.
  11. I have them and have had success with them. I have used a jerkbait type retrieve, Jerk and let fall, jerk and let fall has worked for me.
  12. I would have to say time on the water because experiance is the best teacher. I get several magazines, watch In-Fisherman and talked to other anglers but until you get on the water it all means nothing.
  13. I belong to it. I have just been offered a life time membership for $85.00. It's a multi species magazine not a bad deal for the money as far as I'm concerned. Try it for a year you can't wrong with that if you don't like it cancel. Everyone has their own opinions so take a chance. They give free lures for you to try out and report back on results and the more reports you give the more trial lures you will get. Chow
  14. Nice catch. It does look skinny though the belly is concave(curves inward) rather convex(curves outward). I don't think it's been eating well.
  15. How can you not get excited. Some days your lucky to get one fish Shaw Grigsby ZEROED in the Legends tournament the last day and blew a 3lb lead. When you don't get excited about catching a fish it's time to hang up your fishing gear. Chow
  16. WOW!!!! What a ride with the 300 you will have WARP capability. Ahead warp factor 6 Mr Sulu. LOL!!!!
  17. At the risk of being redundant it's a LMB. The jaw tells all. If the corner of the jaw extends past the eye it's a LMB. Chow
  18. How does one ID USA made Storm Wiggle Warts? I have some that are about 5 years old but none have USA printed on them. The name Wiggle Wart is printed on the underside of the bill and some have the name Storm molded on the bill. Chow
  19. We lost Angler's to Iraq. There was a thread on the internet sometime ago where our servicemen and women where shown fishing overthere. How many troops and support personel do we have over there? Plus all the natural disasters and man made ones could explain some of the appearance of the decline.
  20. Your right you made the right decision coming to this forum. Welcome Aboard.
  21. I seen the commercial and it's without question directed to kids I also agree that if it helps children get into fishing it's a go. One of the hardest things for a kid to learn is casting and this will help a child stay interested without frustration while first learning the sport. Children usally have a shorter attention span then an adult and this may help there as well. This is a better idea than Roland's Helicopter Lure. Chow
  22. 17' 2004 Tracker Targa Deep V behind a 1999 GMC Jimmy SUV.
