A fellow angler and I tried it on spinning gear and it flew of the spool like a SLINKY TOY the answer is NO. I have found it to be a bit stiff of a line I use a co-poly or braid on mine. Chow

I agree, I have both and are good rods. If you decide to spend a little more than the Johnny Morris Signature Series at $119 is an excellent rod. Have not tried the Johnny Morris Elite rods YET. ;D Chow

GREETINGS & FELICTATIONS

There are more vehicles on ther road today than the 50's, 60 & 70's and though there are less emitions they still produce heat into the atmosphere and they run hotter now then they did then. As far as manufacturing goes the reason why it has left this contry are 2 fold cheaper labor and NO RESTRICTIONS ON EMMISIONS now China is the world largest polluter with all it's manufacturing and have shown they don't care and world wide manufacturing is at an all time high. It's amazing how everyone wants to be in denial that humans aren't adding to global warming they say it's the cycle well I guess that's somewhat true when you consider humans are a part of nature but 70 degrees in Jan. in PA normal every year NOOOOOT!!!! get real. The truth is that mankind is causing to make it's own cycle more droughts and major climate changes that we are creating. Chow

Without question the Earth goes through hot & cold cycles BUT..... to think that humans aren't adding to it is LUDICROUS!!!!! With over billon people, Mass use of autos and manufacturing that is used WE ARE ADDING TO IT. I don't know how much everyone has been paying attention BUT.... A large chunk broke away from the Atric the size of a small island they landed a chopper on it. The Artic and Anatric are both shrinking faster now then any peroid in Human history there is a certain amount of facts supporting global warming take away humans from the Earth the last 100 years and the climate would be without question not as it is today. Hookers, You have to much time on your hands.

I believe northern fish need the winter cold as part of their spawning. When the temp drops and then rises the reproduction process starts without the temp. changes the fish will not spawn. I'm sure there's a more technical explanation for it but that's it in a nutshell. Chow

That very well could be Cotton Cordell's CC Rattlin Shad that's a good old lure that was hot on the pro tour sometime ago. That thing catches everything and I mean everything. Chow

$390 they have come down in price they were up near the $450 to $500 originally. It would be nice to see what's under your boat though. Good Luck with it. Chow

You didn't do the Fritts Flip did you? David Fritts feel in the water head first during a B.A.S.S tournament and only his feet were sticking out of the water. I seen that one one this past Saturday on a Bob Cobb Recast. Chow

He did say float on top of the water not just a few inches under the suface any fish I have ever seen floating were either dead or dying. But maybe he did mean near the surface then that would change the equation. Chow

Congrats on an awesome catch. I did check with New York's weigh your fish with a ruler scale and it only went to 25" at that length the weight came in at 9lbs - 10ozs and so yours was a little larger so 10lbs is not a bad call RW.
