  1. That wasn't even close ....
  2. Rofl at Skeet, that was funny. If I was Ranger I would have left to. Sleds need not attempt to compete ;D
  3. The Gander Mtn in Charleston, WV still had 9 STX in the bin for 99 bux. I passed them over, as I don't care for them in the least. If they are your cup of tea, they have them in stock.
  4. Lol, that's the greatest commercial I've ever seen lol Stomping their little turkey heads, lol
  5. Looks like another legend for sure
  6. Here is what this fish had to say.... If you haven't grabbed a few crankbaits from Big M, I highly suggest you do. He is a master at his craft and capable of producing one of the finest crankbaits I've ever had the pleasure of fishing. Thank you Marty!
  7. Correction, I've fished that lake 5 times, in my life. My last visit was 3+ years ago. Keep tryin tho... lawl
  8. When RW stood up and gave the "lets be safe" snip, the bit in dumb and dumber where Jim Carey runs to the plane and screams "It's OK, I'm a Limo Driver"... was so eerily similar, I now correlate the two events when I watch the movie.
  9. Gawd, do you ever learn? Do I have to take your lunch money yet again son? ;D
  10. The other person is DeadJedi, Rodney IRL. We're going to leave either late Friday, or sometime on Saturday, depending on if I have a soccer game to coach. Either way, we'll be draggin the cat down as soon as we can. We've been talkin about hitting Guntersville later in the week, all depending on how the pickwick action pans out.
  11. Shut up, you fish like a woman, it all works out...
  12. A lot of people will tether their phone to a laptop or pc, which provides internet access from basically anywhere you go. This is what I'm doing anyway... I typically have connect issues to BR using AT&T, but a couple disconnects/reconnects will usually hash out the AT&T sludge. In my experiences AT&T has typically been the bottleneck.
  13. Yeah, after the water drops, its a pretty nice smallmouth lake. When the water's up, its really tough to find them.
  14. Upgrades to newer versions of Windows were usually forced for the following reasons: 1. Windows ceased supporting the version OS the consumer was using. 2. Due to changes in applications, programs purchased would no longer run on older versions of Windows. (failure to support legacy applications) 3. Pure dissatisfaction with the current windows product and hoping the next version would improve. Your quoting generic reasons that can and do affect every software vendor in the current market, Apple and the Mac fall prey to the reasons you've listed above. Fail. I sure have. I deal with extensive Java based programs within MS's glorious IE everyday. Since MS doesn't even bundle Java within it's OS (all apart of that anti-trust thing), it often has problems with one of the most popular programming languages used in internet based programming today. Java aside, it's all about programmers having to write programs to interact with windows API. Not an easy task and it shouldn't be that way. First you proclaim an OS should be seen and not heard, but you complain the JAVA Virtual Machine isn't bundled as part of the native OS install? You do understand there is a difference between Java and Javascript, right? MS released the MS Virtual Machine as part of the XP SP 1, but was forced to remove it based on a lawsuit from Sun http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/java.php Java developers need not interact with the Windows API. Java developers need to interact with the JAVA API, so your argument of Java aside makes no sense. If you refer to Windows(vb,c++,.net,etc) developers making use of the windows API, I've failed to see much difficulty in this task over the past 9 years. Have you ever developed against the Mac API? I have, and its actually more confusing than the windows API, although I do prefer the way they handle their security stacks. MS is a giant, they steal when they can, they profit at every corner they can. I can't imagine where you formulate your ego theory with MS but turn a blind eye towards the egomaniacs Jobs has created with the snobby kids carrying pastel notebooks. I hold no loyalty towards either group. I work on development contracts using whatever technologies my employers wish to deploy. The windows OS isn't anywhere as bad as the naysayers like to make out. I can write an application that will crash a Mac just as quick as your typical junk app can crash a windows machine. No current main stream OS is bullet proof. Stick to bad forum jokes Cart, its your strong suit
  15. New River, Greenbrier, Summersville, Upper Kanawha (dinkfest) The new would be your best bet for quality smallmouth, but summersville isn't bad right now if you have a boat.
  16. I"m very proud to say these will be coming to me. Exceptional work as always! I can't wait to fish them!
  17. I'd love to see someone post that pic here and call it 15lbs, lol. I bet the scrutiny of intraweb eye scales would more accurately depict a truer 7lb/8lb fish, lol.
  18. Only gaming I do these days is botting WOW accounts to sale. I keep 4/5 running(automated) at a time, than sale them off every 3-4 weeks. I should buy an Xbox..
  19. You'g got it. I've looked at Triton's PC in the past, and as much as his providers love to deny it, the culprit is in their DNS servers/config. His primary/secondary DNS entries only had entries for the primary, secondary was always blank. Simple tracert from Kelley's router will show packets dropping like rocks.
  20. There is no possible way to keep a half way knowledeable person from accessing an internet forum. Granted you can suspend/ban a specific login, or even attempt to block a specific IP. In the end they can always come back, just never with their original forum account.
  21. Thanks for the kind words! The tires are cooper cobras. TNX!
  22. After months of researching, reading, driving, test rides, etc... I finally found what I wanted. I honestly can't say any of the boats of I've ridden this past summer were bad. Each platform I had the pleasure of being on, would have made an exceptional fishing rig. In the end, I bought what I felt was the clear choice for me. 2008 BasCat Cougar FTD I've had it to 81.2(gps) with me and full gear, but there is a bit left I think. After a couple weeks of fishing, I don't think I could be any happier with a boat. The first two fish to grace the bow...
