  1. I have to agree with his definition. That's how I've always thought it was. We talked about it before shooting the video (I was the cameraman), and he said that was a pet peeve of his. So we decided to put it in the video.
  2. It's warmer - about 52 right now. Let me know how that works out for you!
  3. After more than 300 pro tournaments, and enough surgeries to make an ex-linebacker look healthy, Swindle is turning to cold tub therapy this season. Carl Jocumsen motivated him to do so. I think YOU should try sitting in 48 degree water too. Lemme know how that goes! https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/swindle-hot-tub.html
  4. Ya, a LOT of people think it's gimmicky...thinking just using a bullet weight is the same thing. Nope! Not at all. Bullet weights can get hung up, plus the free rig weights slide VERY easily on the line - that's a huge difference because it impacts how long the bait falls weightless, which is key to this technique. I get the best results in 4-10 feet, where the weight has a more pronounced separation from the bait. The Ragebug is a favorite bait for me using this technique, but it's also worked well with brush hogs, worms, and lizards. I don't use floating baits because it's that slow fall that triggers bites.
  5. Odd looking through the posts. I'm like, "I like that, I like that, I like that and that and that!" LOL Dropshotting is a staple for me as is splitshotting. Perfect for tough conditions. Chatterbait - you know, when I talk to pros about this and tell them I use a paddle bait as a trailer, they look at me like I'm high. But boy does it ever work! Maybe that's because nobody else uses paddletails as a trailer? But, back on topic - Glidebaits and giant swimbaits for me. Tried them for a year and wore my arms out without getting any bites. I don't know, but casting 2-6oz baits feels more like surf fishing to me.
  6. Spring Texas Rig Tactics - New Video!
  7. Here's my video: And here Shin Fukae talking about using it for spring: After shooting that video, he and I fished for awhile and caught several nice ones!
  8. It was all over the news because he had shoplifted tens of thousands dollars worth of merchandise. Another member saw it and figured out who it was. So, no, you're not under surveillance.
  9. Alright, the guy was involved in illegal activity. He shoplifted from retail stores and sold the items on eBay and various fishing forums, including here. He was caught and convicted. That was, what, a decade ago? So it's long since been over. However, if somebody is selling "NIB" or "slightly used" items on eBay for prices "too good to be true", then something is up. Moving on....
  10. Who'da thunk an MTV 80's video was actually a Prophecy?
  11. With a topic like this asides, innuendos, sarcasms, etc can easily be misinterpreted as being serious. Then somebody gets all riled up and fur starts flying. So there's a tighter tolerance on this one. Yours was not the only post removed.
  12. I wasn't too subtle, was I?
  13. You know the saying,"If it sounds too good to be true...." Name: FISH-UNITED.COM Registry Domain ID: 1994248128_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Name: PT ARDH GLOBAL INDONESIA
  14. He's still around, fishing swimbaits and catching monster bass. He went hard-core in the gym, and now is the definition of "beefcake". Dude is a brute! He's a family man and enjoying fatherhood now. Keith was a cool dude. He made a couple of custom rods for Keri and I. He pops in every now and then, but doesn't post much anymore. Tell me about it! I started this thing to show off my design, UX, and coding skills to prospective employers, and look what happened! LOL!
  15. Might want to see this...
  16. Too many political statements in this thread. I hate the winter doldrums. And scene....
  17. Ya, about that "back up" rookie - he's insanely good. Don't underestimate him. He's every bit a starter, and has likely already secured that spot for next year. And that defense. Sheesh. There's a reason they're the #1 defense in the league. The niners are stacked with talent.
  18. While there's much hoopla surrounding ChatGPT, remember it gathers all its information from articles already published on the Internet, which means plagiarism is a major issue. It's why many schools and colleges are banning the use of chatGPT to write papers. It also infringes on the monetization ability of the copyright owner. In addition, good luck if you want to use chatGPT to write about something so new, very little, if nothing at all, has been written on the subject. In essence, nothing original is created from chatGPT. It's all stolen content pieced together.
  19. Some dinosaurs were as big as chickens.
