When the regional forums were built, the states were grouped according to Wikipedia's regional definitions. Blame them if you're upset about it. Two weeks ago it was in the mid-80's. It was 21 this morning. We went from summer to winter in a matter of 4 days. The leaves are still on the trees. Same thing for spring earlier this year. We went from freezing overnight temps and upper 40's, to low 90's in a matter of a week. We had a 4-day spring!

I had shingles a few years ago. Wasn't TOO bad compared to others. More like a really bad sunburn across my torso. A 10-day prescription of anti-biotics cleared it up with no lasting side effects. My doc first said I was "immune" for the next 20 years, so I didn't need the shot. But at my last physical he changed his tune and recommended the shot. My wife went through the 2-shot regimen. 2nd shot gave her flu-like symptoms for several days. It was awful. Looking forward to getting mine. NOT!

Gotta say I'm taken aback by the extreme disdain over sponsor mentions, and by virtue of that, the pros. Do you guys think these guys make a living off of tournament winnings alone? Trust me, most of them would starve if that were the case, if not all of them. Also, most of you have no idea the intense pressure coming from sponsors to push their products. They essentially threaten to fire you if you don't do more....and more....and more. And even then, it's never enough. They always make you feel you fell short and won't get renewed. And they do it because sponsors know there's no way a pro could survive without sponsors. Quite frankly, pro tournament circuits wouldn't exist without them too. So for you guys that absolutely hate it when a pro mentions a sponsor, then what are they supposed to do to earn a living? And how do pro circuits like MLF and B.A.S.S. stay in business without sponsors? Please, do tell. What's the secret to keeping the industry alive without mentioning sponsors? What would you change, and why would that be a sound business proposition?
