What started out as educating people about the potential harm that can be done to a heavy fish by holding him at a 45-degree angle by the lip, has turned into a massive over-correction. Holding a fish of any size vertically by the jaw is not harmful, yet I consistently see people freaking out and "shaming" others when they do that.

IDK if you guys realize this, but I'm the guy behind the camera. Before filming, I sit down with each pro and go through what I want them to talk about, how they should talk about it, where, boat positioning (for lighting), etc. I'm the producer, director, and videographer for everyone one of these videos. I just don't put my mug in front of the camera on these because people want to watch the pro - not me. It's not about me, and I realize that, unlike some YouTubers that feel compelled to be in front of the camera alongside a pro. That's pure ego, IMO.
