  2. Industry and Anglers Team up for Online Aaron Martens Benefit Tournament September 12 through 20 Event to Raise Funds for Martens’ Medical Journey In April of 2020, the fishing family learned that professional angler Aaron Martens, a multiple time champion and Angler of the Year had suffered a seizure while fishing with friends near his Leeds, Ala. Home and had to be taken to the hospital. The result of testing was that Martens was diagnosed with brain cancer and would be undergoing surgery and treatments to combat the disease. Because he is universally loved and respected, the industry, its fans and anglers all entered into prayer and reached out with well wishes to Martens, his wife Lesley and children Jordan and Spencer. But, the spirit of people typically means they want to do more than offer well wishes. In that spirit, a group of people have worked to put together the AMart Benefit Tournament and Auction – all to be held online September 12 through 20. The tournament itself will require a $50 entry fee with 100-percent of all proceeds going to the Martens family. While all tournament entries are a donation, the payout, which will total nearly $40,000 in cash and prizes, will reach down the field into 177th place. The tournament rules require the download of the Connect Scale App and an approved measuring board for which to take pictures to verify catch. Along with the event itself, there will be an auction for once in a lifetime experiences for a day on the water with some of bass fishing’s true legends and brightest personalities. Among those anglers and personalities up for auction are Kevin VanDam, Mark Zona, Jacob Wheeler, Jordan Lee, Hank Cherry, Gerald Swindle, Bryan Thrift, Ott DeFoe, Randy Howell, Chris Lane, Todd Faircloth, Gary Clouse, Brandon Card, Mark Daniels Jr., David Mullins, Jesse Tacoronte, Brent Chapman, Cody Huff, Denny Brauer, Kota Kiriyama, Matt Herren, John Murray and Scott Canterbury and the list continues to grow. The intent of the event is to not only shower the Martens family with love and support during this crisis, but to also help bridge the gap of the mounting financial need as they battle this illness. Zona, the host of Zona’s Awesome Fishing Show recorded a video to provide more information to those interested - For more event and auction information, or to register for the AMart Benefit Tournament and Auction, visit https://amartcharitytournament.com/

  6. And no, I'm not talking about life vests. I'm talking about a few items that nobody mentions. Watch the video to see what they are. btw, this JUST happened: https://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/PLB-rescue-81820.html
  7. Red Label 8lb is .235mm and 8lb Gold is .220mm. It's also worth noting that Red Label is the lowest-tier FC in the Seaguar Lineup, next is AbrazX, then InvizX, then TATSU. On average, Gold Label is 9% thinner than TATSU and InvizX On average, Gold Label has better Tensile Strength compared to TATSU and InvizX. It is 1% Stronger than TATSU and 20% Stronger than InvizX Gold Label has the least amount of Stretch, followed by TATSU, and InvizX which has the most stretch of the three Gold Label has less Memory than TATSU, and TATSU has less memory than InvizX Hope that helps!
  8. Yup, C&R is definitely the best option. My reason for posting is this because a few people think Sure-Life products are hocus-pocus because other competing products don't work as advertised. In fact, some even harm fish, whereas Sure-Life products actually improve the health of the fish. Sure-Life products are the only fish care products independently studied, verified, and proven to be effective for proper C&R. Watch the video to learn more about this. This is why I firmly stand behind their products. I take fish care seriously. I have literally refused to allow others to advertise here because their effectiveness is questionable. Sure-Life is often lumped into this other group simply because people just don't know the difference. Watch the video. You'll learn A LOT about fish care!
  9. What year is the engine?
  10. Or the Herb's Dilly?
  11. Thank you sir! Glad you liked it!
  12. It's that time of year when the grass gets thick and forms thick canopies. It can be hard to fish, but worth the effort because it's often where the big girls live! Here's how to effectively fish the grass:
  13. I'm leaving this post here because it really is a fraudulent company with many complaints across social media about it. That said, I'm closing it because we're not the complaint department. As the old saying goes, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
  14. Does anyone use these procedures?
  15. Here it straight from the man who knows all about fish care!
  16. It's really simple: Don't use anything that isn't designed for animals. It's kinda like rubbing dirt into a wound for humans - it might work, but it's not a great idea. Use Please Release Me formula for bleeding fish. Put it in your livewell and let them hang out in it awhile. Or if you're fishing from the bank, a little pinch of Please Release Me directly on the wound often does the trick.
