Well, we'll see. There's a number of tough divisional games coming up. And as it's known now, the NFC west is the toughest division in the NFL now. So nothing is guaranteed. I'm just glad there weren't any more injuries on the team today. That's a win in itself. Prayers going out to Dak.

I've caught both a 6lb smallie and a 9+ largemouth, and that smallie was every bit as exhilarating as that largemouth. My wife can cook like an executive chef, has great credit, no kids, knows how to operate a baitcaster, plays darts better than most guys, can't stand a dirty home, can drive a boat, and likes beer.

I fish a lot of flooded bushes, timber, beaver huts, and willow trees. Any jig with a cone nose (bullet) or similar shape tends to wedge themselves in the branches and twigs and get hung up, whereas a football head won't.

That's not good. But at least the rain has stopped. Will the water continue to rise?

I mostly flip and pitch with football jigs. I don't lose fish, so this technique works great for me. I learned it from Mark Zona. We had fun with Hackney one day talking about this topic! Wish I recorded those two going back and forth. LOL!
