  1. I give you, the BassResource Glossary of Fishing Terms: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/bass_fishing.html
  2. If you notice, none of my videos ask for people to subscribe. I set the bar high for myself. I tell myself I have to make videos so good that people will want to subscribe. If have to beg for subscribers, then that's a clear sign my videos suck. Ya...me too. Not sure why anyone wants to watch a guy shopping for lures with his kids, or watching a video of some guy standing in front a barn talking about what videos he wants to make. Seriously??? LOL! Oh wait! It's cool because there's a frivolous drone shot added in the middle somewhere!
  3. Here's a few videos from the new pedal drives offered by various manufacturers...

  5. Have you tried this technique yet? What are your thoughts?
  6. I've seen this topic appear here enough times that I made a video about it...
  7. Hank Parker offers up this tip to improve your fishing. What do you think?

  11. First off, the pros re-spool with new line after every tournament. So line twists are eliminated. Most of us don't have that kind of coin to swap out line that often - especially with fluorocarbon. Second, here's a video I made that discusses how to prevent line twist. I even talk about winding against the drag. The second video is how to remove line twist when you don't follow my instructions.
  12. TOAD!!!!
  13. Goodness! This one AGAIN?!! Please use the search function. There's a dozen or so of the same exact threads on this forum. Here, I'll get you started:
  14. I did that once, but that was in my college days. Wait....what?
  15. I'm always sharpening hooks while fishing, even brand new ones, even if they're 'specially shaped' hooks like Trokar. I don't buy into the "you'll ruin the hook if you try to sharpen it" thought process. Once it gets dull, it's already "ruined", so you've got nothing to lose. The goal isn't to give it back it's original shape. The goal is to make it sharp! Regardless of the original shape of the hook point, I can always sharpen them back to a razor-sharp point - often sharper than it was originally. Usually I get them sharp enough to poke through my fingernail (if I push too hard). Here's how I do it:
  16. List a few from the Forums and tell why. Should get some good results and thought it might be fun.
  17. Guys, I appreciate y'all watching my videos. It's really humbling for me. The video is about hitting targets accurately with the proper presentation (e.g. a soft entry). It stands to reason, a 50 yard cast does not fall under this category. It's about short, pinpoint casts. The video is also for folks that are learning to cast baitcasters, and want something more than just how to set up the reel. If you want a tutorial on sidearm and back hand casts, I demonstrate and explain them in my Advanced Spinnerbait video.
  18. You mean this one? Why sure!
  19. I fixed it for you.
  20. This video is NOT about tying it. It's about how to use it.
  21. There's a reason why I call jet skiers "lake lice".
  22. Doe he have a boat? If so, change the license plate frame on the trailer to one that says, "This is NOT my husband's boat!" Trust me, it will take a while before he figures out why all these guys keep driving up beside him, look at him, and then speed away!
