The whole water absorbing thing has been discussed ad nauseam already. I misspoke, and corrected numerously since. Old news. (this video was posted over a year ago) I'll take the chicken leg comment as a compliment. It's a testimony to my sunscreen, which I cover head to toe!

I've seen this several times, and discussed it with the Pond Boss, Bob Lusk (world renowned bass biologist and pond management guru). The fish was on his last days. Sad to see, but normal so long as it's a rare occurrence on the same body of water.

I replace plugs annually, and the water impeller every 2 years, without fail. Lower unit oil gets changed annually as well. I have oil bath bearings, so I cannot comment on greasing them. I service them about every 20,000 miles (3-4 years). I add Stabil + Ring Free every time I add gas - ethanol free gas (it's 2003 Yamaha HDPI). I do more than that, but I cover it in these videos:
