Public school in Mass. issues permission slips for Pledge of Allegiance.
Boy, ya just gotta love how Faux news really buries the facts with editorializations. If you look closely, here's the real story: All it really is, is a notification that they're citing the Pledge Of Allegiance. Big whoop. So really this is much adieu about...nothing. Once again, Faux news completely misleads you with headlines designed to shock you. Sheesh, sometimes they're worse than the National Enquirer. : Geez guys, you really ought to stop watching/reading Faux news. It's nothing but idle gossip.

My new 9mms
Nice looking weapons there. I've fired a number of different 38's, 9mm, and 45's, but not those. I've been contemplating getting a CHP and a 9mm. Recent events have pushed me into going ahead with it. Time to go shopping!

BPS Filing For Bankruptcy?
Sorry folks, but this site doesn't create rumors, speculation, and gossip just so it can call itself a "news" site, like some others. : So unless you have hard evidence to back up this gossip, let's move on.

Mountain Dew first-aid for injured fish?
This subject comes up about every 3 months or so. Using carbonated beverages on a living animal is not recommended. You could end up causing more harm than good. Use Please Release Me on bleeding and stressed fish instead. It's specifically designed for use on injured bass. I can speak from experience that it works VERY well.

Need HDTV purchasing advice
We absolutely love them. Ours is the version before the Kuro, so they don't have the auto-adjust feature. But man are they awesome. You've never played Halo until you've done it on a 50" plasma!

Be careful even in the South
Very cool! I presume you took precautions to ensure you didn't fall in as well. A lot of people don't, and end up being victims too. So kudos to you!!

BPS Filing For Bankruptcy?
Bankruptcy? C'mon man. Really? A real estate deal takes longer than planned, and you jump to this conclusion? Sorry, I don't see the connection.

I wonder if Nanotechnology will ever bring us a Fluoro braid...
I'm not sure which one it was. It was 2 years ago. All I remember is that it was 100% Fluoro, and that it was Seaguar. I'm not knocking the brand at all. I tried it based on the raves I saw here (so it probably was Invisx). I'm just saying it didn't work out for me. I couldn't see spending 2x-3x on line that seemed to perform worse than what I was already using. If fluoro works for you, then by all means go for it, regardless of what brand you use. You just won't see me using it anytime soon.

Need HDTV purchasing advice
I admit I'm a bit of a video snob, since I come from a broadcast video production background. So I have Pioneer Elite Series plasma screen TVs. Really, these are the only HTDV sets that have true blacks (which means better colors). These are amazing sets, but probably overkill for most people. My next recommendation would be a Sony. But not just any Sony. Don't run out and buy the cheapest you can find. That's a common mistake most electronic consumers make. What most people don't know, is that electronic manufacturers build "A", "B", and "C", versions of most models. The "A" versions have the highest quality, while the "C" versions do not. Many times, you'll be price shopping for the same model across retailers, and find a "really good deal" from one or two places. Be careful! Those are most likely "C" versions. So you're NOT comparing apples-to-apples! The best way to tell is to look at the full model number on the box, or on the serial number. Sometimes there's an A, B, or C in the number. That's a long-winded way of saying, "Stay away from the bargain discount stores!"

Take it easy, do as the docs say, and you'll be back to your version of "normal" soon!

I use co-polymer and braid, and am quite pleased with the results. But I kept hearing about the fluoro "benefits", so I tried it once on a baitcaster. The line kept snapping during the casts. So I wadded it up and threw it away. End of experiment.
