  1. 2nd quarter - Chiefs are looking good! Man are they ever fired up!
  2. No problem. We're just funnin' with ya! Welcome aboard!
  3. Just finished dinner watching the Jets/Ravens game. Getting settled in for round two!! Perfect scheduling!
  4. I'm not a Skins fan by any stretch of the imagination, but even less a 'Boys fan. The 'Boys shot themselves in the foot with penalties and the Skins played outstanding defense. It was a tight game all the way, with the "right" outcome. Good times! 8-)
  5. GREAT GAME!!!
  6. They have shad in Ontario? If not, fish the weedlines. First the inside edge, then outside edge as days get colder and shorter. Oh, and read these articles: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/seasonal-fishing-articles.html#fall

  10. Welcome home!
  11. Great start to the season! A surprise, yes, but I'll take it! Passing game and defense looked really good. Still need a running game tho. But hey, I'll take a win any way I can get it!
  12. Welcome to last month! http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1280855378 ;D
  13. Ease up on the religious references and undertones guys.
  14. I use different icons for different stuff. I also name the waypoints something that helps me remember what it is I marked. Combined, I can revisit stuff I hadn't fished in years.
  15. Ok, game on! Let's post our comments and thoughts as we watch the first official NFL game of the season! My first thought - that has got to be one of the worst renditions of the National Anthem that I've heard in a long, long time!
  16. The inverted V's occur when a fish passes through the cone angle. This can happen either (1) when the boat moves over them (for example when they're suspended), or (2) when the fish swims through. Since your boat isn't moving very fast, that rules out #1. #2 often doesn't happen much, but then again, that depends on your location. If you move your boat over a suspended fish at a slow speed, they'll just appear as a steady line on your graph. Rule-of-thumb: bass that are feeding are typically in "ambush mode" and will hug structure or cover. Often this means they "blend" in with objects in your fish finder - so you won't "see" the fish in your fish finder. Instead, just use it to find the structure and fish it, knowing that an aggressive bass is probably there.
  17. Prayers sent!
  18. Sorry to hear about your dinged prop, but it could've been worse. So count your blessings. The advice you got was sage. Do NOT run the motor until it's fixed. Phil's Prop Shop in Shasta is arguably THE best prop shop east of the Mississippi.
  19. Being a Seahawks fan, I don't know what to expect, but I'm not expecting much. They've pretty much wiped out the entire organization and replaced them with new blood. As of this morning, there's maybe 25 returning players from the original 53-man roster of last year, and more may be on the chopping block. 18 of 20 coaches have been replaced, and several key positions in the front office have been replaced. A total and aggressive overhaul, even by NFL standards. So a rebuilding year it is. I don't expect an instant championship. But hopefully they'll be more competitive this year, if not next.

Sorry I didn't get to this post sooner. I saw the newsletter when it came out and was delighted to see you guys as a sponsor, and BR mentioned as well! Way cool!
  22. I think you nailed it on the head Lynda!
