Boy I really am amazed! We've certainly grown through the years. We've had our ups and downs, but one thing has remained consistent - ALL the GREAT guys and gals who make all the BR Forums the fantastic place that it is! People come here to ask numerous questions from the simple to complex and have always recieved great answers and have always been treated with respect. I think's a testimony to the quality of the members here! Not only that, but we've had several members step up to the plate to take on additional roles - Long Mike, Alpster, BLee, Chris, LowBudgetHookers, Ghoti and many more, just to name a few! From helping out running the site, to making the roadtrips seemingly effortless, these folks rock! And I cannot say enough about the mods - RW, and FiveBassLimit. I stand up and salute you guys. Saying a huge thank you for all you do, the sacrifices you make of your time and energies to make this site the best place to pull up a stump, sit down and talk to friends and family about fishing, or to tell a joke. You guys make it happen! And finally, I cannot do what I do without the support, help, and encouragement from my loving wife, Keri. She keeps me motivated and focused, and gives me the time/space I need to what do. You guys make this place a joy to visit every day. Thanks everyone!

Pick your favorite plastic in green pumpkin or watermelon colors - Senko, grubs, tubes, hula jigs. Use dropshot and football heads, 1/2 oz or more in the current. You can get away with lighter weight in slack water. Crankbaits are also a good bet, especially chrome Rat-L-Traps. Good luck!

Yup, I remember him well, and think of him evey now and then. I hope all is well. I believe he was coaching football a few years ago, if I remember correctly. I seem to recall Katrina hit his neck of the woods pretty hard, and his wife got robbed during the ensuing chaos.
