  2. First off - be very careful about making such accusations and statements like that on this site. I know you're upset about this, but keep things factual and straightforward please. Along those lines, typically a public vote isn't required in environmental policy decisions - a wise policy as the majority of the public is clueless about these decisions. Too many PETA lovers would get involved and influence policy decisions, and make people vote in ways that are detrimental to wildlife management and the environment. Environmental/wildlife managment is NEVER a good thing when dictated by public vote. That said, I HIGHLY encourage you to learn more about the reasoning behind the dept's proposals, and understand their side of the issue. With that information in hand, you'll be much better prepared to address their issues and lead them to discovery of the problems their proposal could create. Often times, they simply aren't aware of the potential problems, but won't "listen" unless brought to their attention in a businesslike dialog. This is far more productive and influential than flat out protests and angry attacks against them. Just my .02 from decades of experience dealing with policy makers.

  4. Keri and I have a cabin - well away from the blast zone. : We are flying in, so no boat. We are considering NOT renting a boat this time for a change, so we're looking for open backseats. Of course we will share expenses.
  5. Pulled what? My finger? Sorry.... it was there.... couldn't resist.
  6. Wow, we have some folks that have fished a lot of different places. Impressive. Can't say I match up to any of that, but my modest list is: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Yukon Territory, and British Columbia

  8. When I first started using the Cavitrons, they veered to the left. I soon discovered I was reeling them in too fast. These are designed to go slower than standard buzzbaits, and it takes some getting used to. But that's exactly why they catch bass!
  9. I use one of those cheap, sealable canisters you can get at Target. I line it with bubble wrap. The one on the far right fits 5 bottles.

Yep, good jigheads. I've used them with great success paired with Ragetail mini-lobsters. Great stuff!
  11. Well, at least you didn't break anything. I figure any day fishing is a good day when everything works and doesn't break.

  15. Way to dominate! That's impressive. Ya know, she wouldn't get a fever if she stopped kissing those fish. But then again, she kisses you......then that must mean......heeeyyy wait a minute!

  19. There's not a whole lot of opportunities around the palouse, although it's not void of it. But if you have a boat, then hit Potholes (and the seep lakes), Tri-Cities (Columbia river), Coeur d'Alene, and Scooteney. Dworshack Reservior might be worth a shot, but I admit I know nothing about it.
