  4. Black lake, Lake St. Clair, Pattison, and Offut lakes are all good. With the weather forecast in mind, I'd start this weekend if I were you! Should be nice out.
  5. See why more and more bass anglers are choosing Suzuki! Suzuki Marine
  6. My buddy Mike McClelland was nice enough to take time out of his busy schedule to show you how he organizes his bass boat for more successful days on the water.
  7. Typically in the Spring, warm rains cause the feeder creeks to dump muddy water into the lake. The water is warmer, thus it sits above the colder water of the lake. As the temperature of the muddy water is cooled by existing lakewater, it mixes in. Therefore, in this scenario, it's muddy on the top first.
  8. It is, as it's been for a year now. You can stop worrying about it.

Be careful what you ask for. We had a low snow pack that worried the drought alarmists. Then we got SLAMMED with FEET of snow within a few days....and it CONTINUED for weeks! Still happening. We're now in flood watch alerts, avalanches, closed highways, blizzard whiteouts, washouts, etc. Went from too little to WAY overkill in a matter of days. Had a major storm blow through today, leaving flooding, downed trees, power outages, and deaths. Got another storm hitting us again tomorrow.
  10. Welcome back sir! We're glad you're here! I'll never forget our Vegas trip.
  11. These early-season cold-water search baits help you catch more bass when the bite is tough. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/cold-water-search-baits.html
  12. Just givin' the people what they want. LOL!
  13. Here are step-by-step instructions:
  14. First, it's way beyond just spooling the line that causes line twist, but let's start with spooling it correctly: Then, here are additional tips that you absolutely must follow to avoid line twists (not doing this is how most people get line twists) Then, if you ever do get line twists, here are two ways to solve it, first on the water, the second is on land.
  15. To become a better angler, sit down with a cup of coffee, a tablet, and a pen, and do this... https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/new-year-plan.html
  16. Cormorants are not welcome in most sportfish waters because of the damage they can inflict. You now have a little info on what cormorants eat and when. https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/cormorant-predation.html
  17. I started using Gamakatsu when they hit the U.S. market in '92. I soon swapped out all my hooks to Gammy's and they still remain the predominant hooks in my arsenal. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think the Trokar tube hook is the only exception.
  18. I wouldn't mind if he 'Hawks drafted Michael Penix Jr. 😃
  19. I don't know where you're getting your information from, but there aren't any Seattle fans that aren't grateful for what Wilson achieved while with the 'Hawks. You must be reading a rumor mag or something. LOL
  20. You may want to consider the St. Croix Trigon Mojo JOC72MHMF. It works a jerk bait well in cold water when faster rods are too much, as well as oversized spy baits, plus it's the perfect Rapala DT rod for anglers struggling to throw light-statured 4’s, 6’s, and 8’s from that series
  21. Here's a good one from my buddy and 2-time MLF AOY Michael Neal, known for his finesse skills:
  22. No, not at all. But the rest of the trade? Ya, Seahawks made BANK!
