Got My ASSOCIATES DEGREE TODAY>>DIPLOMA IN HAND
Thanks to all. There will be no book about my life. Nothing spectacular about making bad choices and substance abuse. I am grateful I was rescued from active addiction, but there are no parades to be thrown out of finally doing what is basically expected of every man.

Byt he way: I t rig the 6 inch version as well as use that on larger jigheads/The baby size almost always goes on a shakey head or a slider head.

Got My ASSOCIATES DEGREE TODAY>>DIPLOMA IN HAND
Hey Fellas; I am on my way to Brooklyn, as I was leaving and packing our the truck with my shopping list from Elaine, my landlord came out and told me they had a package they signed for yesterday. IT IS MY DIPLOMA For many an Associates degree is not much for me it is a miracle At 41 I was homeless and unemployable. Thanks to a lot of help from my NA brothers and sisters, my life has been a string of miracles for the last 17 years. I got a lot of support here from Long Mike, RW, Risk Kid,LBH, Brent and especially GHOTI. Now I am a Mook with a Degree, UNBELIVEABLE Dominick

Rod/Reel Brand Loyalty...Why???
Excellent question Ghost! I have been fishing for a lot of years, and have tried a lot of rods and reels, none expensive as I can not afford that. First Reels: I Was a 100% Mitchell Spinning fan. In NYC they were readily available and most other brands were primarily available through mail older catalog. I am talking from the 60 to the early 80's. When they changed the 300 I was lost I never took to the newer reels and when I moved to PA, most around here were Pflueger Fans, from my first Trion and President I was hooked. When I made the transition to Bait Casting I just stayed with what I trusted. There is another reason I love the Trion. My hands are somewhat shot, from years of drumming and because of diabetese I have Neuropathy in my hands The Trion is a painless fit and I can fish with it all day. I also like the BPS Extremes a lot, but the way they fit in my hand is not as comfortable. Rods: Now especially since my shoulder has come into play and all the pain from it I needed a light rod and the reel had to sit right. In my Price range I found 2 rod brands that I love Fenwicks and Cabelas Fish Eagle II's. I was able to take advantage of the recent Cabelas swith out to their newer version of the Fish EagleII. They put the older ones out at 30 to 40 bucks, making them extremely affordable to me I find what I am comfortable with and I stay with it. I do not need Lifetime warranties, as I have said before I fish with a rod not a warranty. I have never had to return either of these brand rods for anything. The Pflueger products are sound, give a lot of quality for the money and I have a private guy who cleans and lubes them and they service their reels at a reasonable cost with short turnover/ I like to use a few things I trust and My physical problems can coexist with these brands so I stay loyal to them and I am happy , happy 8-) KISS!!!!!!!! I believe their are people here who get financial reward for pushing certain brands, there is also open sponsorship. What I love is when one guy is pounding the boards with a specific brand then he sends in a picture of a fish caught and his tackle is visible, in n his hand or on the boat and there is not one of those brands visible. It has happened more than once! ps I have tried in my seach for what I like; Mitchell,ABU<Rapala<All Star<Zebco<Quantum and various BPS and Cabelas products/ and I CONFESS A STRADIC, Kent gave me

Mitch: If you are not in a rush keep your eye on our flea market. From past experience as fellas upgrade using tax refunds a lot of great reels come on board in the next 2 to 3 weeks You know I am going to say this: I would keep my eye out for a Pflueger President X6735 if I were you Dominick

One of my favorite T rig baits, I also use em stuck on a football jig head, I use The *** Brush Bug, better price and they are very tear resistant.

What are the differences \ advantages between an "O" and oval ring
but....sometimes I prefer a round split ring because on certain baits, ex. Bomber 8A, it will give the bait a slightly different action.

I'm Done with MLB
I love Baseball, and i will wait it out, just another bump in the highway! All sports have BS and Cheating: NFL; recent spy case and the poster child's of Steroid use Basketball; Sooner or later Steroids will come to light, just coming out of their thug age, point shaving Nascar; other than being totally boring watching cars go left and fast on the straight away,. Yea I know 200mph, inches from each other, i would rather watch midget tennis. Constant breaking of rules and crew chiefs who acknowledge. Boxing: Don King Bass: under the table deals with locals and all sorts of paid off hi jinx. I would rather just fish myself, this part of our sport does little for me. So it goes on and on, as long as money and gambling is involved there will always be some kind of cheating going on. I did not include wrestling, as this is about real sports.

what is a good BC setup
The fella with the Criterion by Pflueger is 100% correct. Pflueger Bait Casters are only worth the dough from the Trion line and up The Extreme Bait Casters by BPS for 50 bucks is an excellent way to go , they were the reel I learned how to Bait Cast and I have held onto only one, as I love the Pflueger Trions This would be an excellent combo that with current prices would cost you 130. I have used this combo myself with a lot of satisfaction PBS Extreme ETX20HB 50 bucks Cabelas Fish Eagle II Bait Casting rod GC662 6'6" Med/Fast 80 bucks Sweet combo and you will not have to change off it as you become proficient

How do you qualify someone as a great bass fisherman?
Taking the positives, negatives and all that is in every bit of information you can use. Negatives can turn into positives when used correctly. To ignore why something didn't work is bound to get you into the same mistake again. Fishing in itself is a blessing and if you just deal with positives ( fish catching) you are only dealing with 1/2 the picture.

In Your Opinion
I have never agreed with you more. CHAT? I don't chat I talk with my friends and relatives. I don't need more than little bits of information and direction from store staff, other than that leave me alone. I will bring to the register what I want to buy.
