  1. Thanks. Check your PM's. We have been doing well lately. I slowed my fishing down alot and it has helped. I think the spawn is all messed up because both of those bass my boys caught were females loaded with eggs. I would of figured it would be over by now. Hope you all get a chance to get out there any catch some big ones yourselfs.
  2. You would not beleive this, But my oldest asked to fishing tonight and I said sure so off we went. He usually does not like to go. Well he caught a HAWG this was 5lbs 7oz with a Jig. This one was done all by himself (He is 12 years old). I have never had such a good day fishing with the family. This was his personal best.

  6. Took my youngest son out today and this is his first bass of the year. 4lbs 11oz. She was a beauty. He did most of it himself till she spun the boat around he got scared and I gave him a little help. I was very proud of him.

  14. Did you bring you fish finder to Nutts? I was wondering how deep it was? I did check it out about a month ago from the shore and it looked good besides all the baseball game traffic.
  15. I got it to and I agree everything is not on there. Plus it was printed in 2003. I may head out to stevens pond also around 1pm so I may see you there.
  16. Caught five today on Senkos and Jigs. Dark colors work well in darker water. Fishing in the rain is always fun as it puts bass in the feeding mood.
  17. I have no problem catching bass in the rain. I went out today and caught 5 bass. I have fished many days in the rain and done well, Bass feed good then. Now you said a strong current, That is where you won't find bass. They will look for a place with no current, But this could close to where the current is also to ambush there prey as they swim by. Hope this helps.
  18. Nice smallie Jay.
