I am not getting all this return stuff; MILD RANT
It is not just return policies. It is law suits also. I had to pick my little girl up from day care the other day and take her to the Dr. Her day cares goes every other week to a pizza joint for kids her age. They lock the place down and let the kids have fun. They have $0.25 toy machines there. Apparently my little girl somehow skinned her finger on the quarter slot. Day Care called me and asked that have the Dr. take a look at it. I asked them if this was something I should go and yell at the owners of the Pizza place for. Her teacher stated they closed the machine down, taped it off, and did everything they could to make Sierra comfortable. Her teacher stated the owner truly was distraught and knew nothing about the faulty machine. I took her to the Dr. they cleaned it up again (Day Care and the pizza joint owner did a very good job the first time). She tore a pretty good chunk of skin off her finger. We now have to watch it to make sure it doesn't get infected. Could we sue? Yes!!!! Would we win? Probably. Am I going to sue? Hell no!!! The pizza place is a good clean place. It is their business to stay in business. Not hurt little kids. This was a fluke accident. They are fixing the problem. It wasn't life threatening or life altering. It was learning experience for her. Now she knows not to put her fingers there. Granted it messed the skin up on her finger pretty bad and it looks extremely nasty. It tore the skin off half way down the side of her finger but it will heal. It makes me mad that other people would try to own the pizza joint for that same instance. Granted they could have offered us a free pizza or to at least have paid her our $20 co pay but oh well. They are a good place for the most part.

I don't know why this picture cracks me up so much.
That is very funny. I think it is so funny because you think it would be the other way around. It is normally the dog that is doing the nipping. To funny.

Oil Prices Plunge!
I still don't understand why the US won't open its reserves. I get the whole idea of let's use their oil up first but when is enough, enough? The last report I read was that we have even larger reserves than what they have ever had. You would think that with 2 oil crises in less that 40 years it would open someone's eyes. One of the best quotes I have ever heard was on the radio. I wish I could remember who it was. He stated that if it was between him and some rare bird you can be sure it would be him living and not the bird. Why can't we at least get the reserves operational. Limit the output and keep the sites very tidy and clean. At least then when OPEC decides to cut production we can say, "OK. That is fine. We'll up our production to offset your reduction." Then they have no reason to cut production. At least then we would have a bargaining chip.

Anything more relaxing than cleaning guns?
There is absolutely nothing more relaxing than cleaning my carry piece. I enjoy cleaning my other guns but it doesn't compare to cleaning my S&W M&P 9mm. This is for family protection when we are out. Knowing it is in tip top shape relaxes me more than any other hobby I have. The piece of mind it brings knowing that is will work when I need it is priceless. I love cleaning guns! There is something about the smell and feel of cool metal that is clean and slightly oily to the touch.

Women and their gallbladders
I am very sorry to here of you loss. It is a shame. One reason women seem to have more gallbladder attacks is due to pregnancy. When they are carrying it squishes all of there organs up. It really affects the gallbladder when they carry high. My wife was 26 when we had our daughter. 2 weeks later she had her gallbladder removed. Her doctor told us it is becoming very common for women to have to have their gallbladder removed after pregnancy. It isn't so much a matter of "if" any more as to "when". Quite of few of her friends went through this same thing. Her doctor removes about an average of 3000 gallbladder per year. That number just seems insane to me. That is just one doctor...

My fishing season is done :(
Insurance should cover it if you have it covered. You will have to meet your deductible. With the insurance company that I work for you state what you are going to cover it for but it is still figured as actual cash value. They will only give you what it is worth today minus your deductible.

OUCH
That made me cringe just thinking about that. Luckily I haven't done that yet. I feel for ya. At least the shot will be cake compared to that!!!

NHL
I was just kidding on the is hockey still a sport comment. : I used to watch hockey until they quit showing it in our area. Asking if hockey is still a sport is just a common response in warmer climates. We find it funny around here. No offense was intended.
-
NHL
Hockey is still a sport? :-? Is that the game where you see who can spit the farthest? I haven't watched hockey in years. Sports Center is about the only time I even see it mentioned anymore. I can't even remember that last time I watched a hockey game. But I live in Southern Indiana. Hockey isn't big at all around here. It doesn't stay cold long enough. We are basketball college country around here. They quit showing hockey around here when they stopped letting them fight and rough house as much.

A simple rule to live by -
That is the sad part of management. There are so many people that have no business managing their own affairs much less an entire crew. Too often knowing someone and having a college degree puts many unqualified people into management jobs. I can't stand it when someone with the "little man syndrome" gets into power. They give all managers a bad name. I hope things get better for you. This may be an opportunity for you to look for a new job!

A simple rule to live by -
You have to remember that it is your bosses butt that is on the line too if you screw up. Alot of bosses are used to dealing with pig headed idiots that think they know everything and won't learn anything new. As a former supervisor I can tell you this from experience. Alot of employees try be impressive when they barely know what they are doing. It is the bosses job to get everyone on the same page and doing their job correctly. Sometimes bosses are paranoid to try anything new for this same reason. They tend to get into a routine. If they do everything the same way everyday, the odds of them forgetting something go way down. When something new comes along some tend to clam up at the idea of change. Change means learning mistakes. Mistakes mean cut bonuses and possiblility of being fired. I don't know the circumstances of your arguement. I'm not trying to get on you. I'm just trying to help explain the pressure of being a boss in hopes to ease the tension on your working relationship. Hope this helps a little.
