Good bait if you don't have shiners. LOL

Try a spook or skitterwalk instead.

have any of you used these?
I've been using Bass Assassin flukes for years and years and wouldn't use anything else.

is Lucky craft overpriced??
For the price you pay you get allot of lure. The finishes are remarkable and as others have said very eye appealing collector wise. I like the Sammy for walking the dog and the Flat Mini for shallow cranking.

Sanitizing a boat?
Never use bleach water mix it corrodes all plastics and leaves heavy residue. + the runoff isn't good for any fishing hole. Use vinegar / water. 3/1 mix.
-
Sanitizing a boat?
Try a simple heavy solution of vinegar and water it is non toxic, kills bacteria/ mold and even dissolves salt deposits and crud and costs nothing. Perfect 4 keeping toxins out of your honey hole.

The $EC has no equal
Don't mess with the SEC. It's a whole lot better than ND stuck up NBC's rear. And look where they are at. And the Big 10... well Appalachian State... well you get the picture.

2 3/4 pd pickeral
I think the Pickerel is an under appreciated fish. I find them in shallow coves and weedlines near creek inlets almost all year. they don't seem to leave the coves for most of the year. Just tie on a Husky Jerk and look out.

Rodbuilders in S.C. ?
Anyone have any info on custom rodbuilders in the central S.C. area. I live near Columbia and I'm looking for someone local to build a good loomis blank rod. Attn. to thread wrapping is what I need. You know a real beauty of a rod.

Anything brightly colored and noisy always works for me in muddy water.

Who still uses old style plastic worms?
I use them only in back of tributaries/creeks where there are small water moccasins. Anywhere else it is rather unnatural.

Lake Warren, SC Anyone?
Warren, i've heard is allot like the upper portion of Santee-Cooper towards Congaree Swamp. Wetlandish in the upper part and deep and channel filled near the dam. It's a 200 Acre lake so something must be going on. Happy fishing

Lake Murray SC
Hello, I live 5 mi. from Murray. I fish there all the time. I'll give you my lure / line selections I use. Early morning is topwater time on Murray. Try using my favorite the Zara spook jr. or Rapala skitterwalk, Rebel Pop R in upper lake creek inlets and anywhere up the Saluda river After 9 a.m. the topwater bite shuts off then you should go to your shallow diving crankbaits like Fat Free shad or Rapala DT-6 around main lake points or fallen trees / docks in coves. Also I have had success with Strike King Pro model jigs and Terminator spinnerbaits around docks and fallen trees especially with light wind and med-heavy cloud cover. Wind is a big key on Murray. Early/ late afternoon I go to a carolina rigged Bass Assassin fluke shad coler or white on main lake points and around main lake islands. Dreher Island State Park is one of my favorites for this. Also shallow diving Fat free shad works well in the same locations. I tend to use my G Loomis MBR 843c and a Shimano Curado for most of my presentations. Except for spinnerbaits and tubes then I'll use a spinning rig. I hope this info will help a little or allot, Happy Fishing
