Is there an advantage to doing it this way? I can't see how this would work in fairly clear water considering the visibility of the wire.

Are you fishing for bass? Why not just use a mono or flouro leader?

I'm not even going to take the time to embarrass myself. Excited to see everyone else though. I've seen quite a few really sweet looking custom rods.

Fedex? I thought usps was the post office? I've had rods shipped through the post office a few times and never had any problems. Not to mention anything i sell and have shipped is always delivered on time if not earlier, and on top of that it's always the cheapest. I always feel better when I see the site I am ordering from is shipping through usps and not ups. I've never really dealt with fedex.

I really like Kimbo because he's so humble and willing to learn and take advice and stuff. He doesn't think he's better than anyone and respects all the fighters he seems like a great person but your right he does need A LOT more work. But, the last fight we saw him in was against roy in the beginning of TUF this season and since then he went through the rest of that season training, and not to mention after he got out he's hopefully been training. Maybe after all that he's actually got a little of what it takes to handle some of the light heavyweights.

It seems like everytime I spend money on a phone, it ends up not being something I need because the only thing i'll do is text/talk on it. Not to mention their value never holds so if you can wait a few months after new phones first come out, you can get them for much cheaper. I'm done spending money on phones mine gets great signal and does everything I need. I mean I was just eligible to upgrade and still haven't and might consider the droid if you didn't have to pay 30 dollars a month to have it. What is it 200 dollars for the phone and then 30 a month. So your paying 360 dollars a year not adding what you initially paid for the phone. Can't see how a phone is worth that much, unless I guess you really need it for work or something. That being said google is really taking cell phones to a new level all of their phones look really nice.

That's actually been up there for a while that kimbo would fight in December. I think with all this time he's had after that fight with Roy he's bound to have gotten a lot better. Hope so anyways.

Nope, it was their first bass and I got the oldest Alex to hold mine but he held it for like 5 seconds then threw it back in but he wouldn't hold his because it's "teeth" haha. It's ok though the first few bass I caught I wouldn't hold either.

I took my little cousins, Alex (9) and Josh (7), out fishing today because Alex got some new lures he wanted to use and I wanted to try and get some more practice with the carolina rig. Well I tied on one of Alex's new cranks a bitsy bug by strike king onto his 5' Ugly stick and I tied a small 1/16 shakey head to a 3" pearl stik-o onto Josh's little tiny rod. Then I went on to putting on my carolina rig with a Zoom super fluke behind it and casted out and was working it in when my line took off. I set the hook and reeled it in finding it to be a solid 5 ounces! haha I of course don't care because it was my first carolina rig fish but I don't have a picture of that trophy, sorry. Anyways, I casted out for Alex into a spot I knew bass usually are and I worked the lure in a little ways then paused and a bass hit. It was on Alex's 5' Light rod so it felt huge so I handed it over to Alex and he reeled it in and landed it! 8-) Then I was trying to catch one for Josh on his rod and accidently chucked his little rod into the water. ;D So I had to reach my whole arm in there to get it out. Anyways, I start casting by this drain about 4 times and work it it really slow and still nothing. So I cast it out there for him and show him how to work in the lure and then I go off and start fishing and then a minute later I hear him say, "hey I got one!". I look over there and sure enough he had a LMB on the line. Overall a great day. Feels good to be there to help my little cousins catch their first largemouth, plus I got my first carolina rig largemouth!

This is true I'm in a world religions class and you wouldn't believe all of the other things other cultures do, yet they still think most of the things we do is crazy. That being said, what is the point in going through the extra trouble to keep it alive? Would it really make it taste that much better?

I got swimbait equipment and lures but got it a little late and haven't even landed any big fish on them yet. Hoping to get better with those and with carolina rigging and drop shotting. Hopefully try and hit double digits this year and possibly start cranking a little deeper.

I asked about this lure a month or 2 ago and was told to use it along weedlines and ambush points and as slow as possible. Once I started doing this I had much more success!

x2 In the upper half of the box I have about 12-15 jigs w/trailers and it could easily fit more in the upper portion then in the lower I have trailers and a few other rigged things like small soft swimbaits and rigged shakey heads.

I hate that box. It says it can hold spinnerbaits but it can't unless it's a little crappie spinnerbait and I haven't tried anything else but the jigs would like cram in there just not worth messing with there are better boxes out there.

No no it's not on sale at 129 I'm not sure why it's in red which makes it look like it's on sale. I just figured it was 130 which is how much the revo s are so I thought it might be the new one, but in the pictures I'm pretty sure it's the old one. And by sale I mean the 20% off ends today at 5.

That's a great deal thanks for sharing! Are the baitcasting ones only for round reels or will it still fit the low profiles? I have a couple BPS brand but they can't be on the rod so it never gets used except probably this winter to store it.
