  1. I would be one of those idiots to post something before reading more on the video. Haha
  2. I think it's a lot better than others and since it's about the same price as others, it's a win win. I've only used like 1 or 2 other kinds but they didn't produce NEARLY as well as the cavitron. This is definitely a must have lure and buy extras in a variety of sizes and colors too in case you lose some. I have no durability issues I've caught numerous fish on my favorite black with red blade 3/8 one and if the wire bends I do like RW said and bend it back and it still produces. Perfect buzzbait.
  3. I thought it looked a lot better than before.

x2 Even though I think Rashad would take the win.
  5. I have the older yellow one which is pretty much the same as the new, but it's perfect for me and I shore fish most everytime as well. Holds a lot of stuff and easy to carry on your back. My friend has the newer gray one and he loves it as well.
  6. Use the search function. More than enough threads on these lures.
  7. I'm really having a hard time pulling the trigger on the IMX. The Cumara with that Stradic CI4 MG looks like a gorgeous combo. Is the 60 extra for the IMX really worth that extra instead of getting the Cumara? The Dobyns does look great too though. Man this is hard!
  8. All these saying Dobyns believe they are a better value than the IMX? The 702SF looks perfect for what I want but if the IMX is worth the extra 30 dollars I'd rather spend that. Plus do the Dobyns have a lifetime warrenty?
  9. Also should I hold off until spring to get it? I think I'm about to just get a few TW gift cards since they're %10 off and should I just hold on to them until Spring because a lot of stuff will go on sale? Does TW do the 20% off everything again in the spring? I can't remember.
  10. So it is worth the extra money over the St. Croix LT or the Cumara or the Loomis technique specific rods?
  11. Berkley Cherrywood? Haha I want something sensitive and light not just something that you find in Walmart that has specs to match what I'm fishing.
  12. No kidding. He needs to donate that to someone that knows how to handle that sexy beast and go buy himself a caddy or something along those lines.
  13. The only Rebel I actually use is their popper which is an awesome popper btw.
  14. I want to upgrade my spinning rod that will primarily be used for shaky heads since that's the main technique I use now on my spinning rod and probably one of my most used techniques overall. My price range is 150-250. I mostly throw shaky heads from 1/16-1/8. I really would like to stick with St. Croix so I've been looking at the Avids and Legend Tournaments, but I was also looking at the Cumaras CUS68M and the Loomis IMX SJR782. Also the G. Loomis shaky head rod SHR821S and SHR822S look great and are a little cheaper than the IMX but if it's not as good as say the IMX or Cumara I'd rather get one of those. Pretty much I just want the best rod for the money. I haven't used any of them, just checked them out in the store so any advice would be great. Thanks!
  15. I have the 7' MH rod and it's a great rod for the money. I love it. Haven't tried the Tierra reels because for that much I'd rather get another Citica.
  16. I chose Gamakatsu because that's mostly what I use, but I do really like Owners hooks.
  17. I use 20lb big game as well but that's for swimbaits that are 1-4 ounces.
  18. Definitely get some Cavitron Buzzbaits. A few different sizes and colors and some back ups. Cranks I'd get a variety of Bandit 100 series. Couple packs of rage tail toads for top water. By trailers did you mean jig trailers? If so a few different colors of paca chunks and baby paca craws.
  19. Curious to see what kind of tackle or fishing stuff everyone got! I'll post a picture of mine later but here's the invoice. 20. I like them on a keel weighted hook or a carolina rig.
  21. If he's out for the whole day I'm sure he doesn't want to bring just 4-5 other lures with only one rod. I'd just bring 3 rods if I were you. One rod for your cranks, one for your jigs/heavier stuff, and one for texas rigs. My tackle bag is the one from BPS that you can carry around like a backpack.
  22. I'd like to go see it, but not if it'll cost me 20 dollars. haha It's almost 10 dollars a ticket to watch a movie in theatres in 3D, plus I gotta pay for the girlfriend. It does look really good though.
