  1. 31, Independant Contractor. I build assemblys for the gypsum industry at a fire protection lab and an accoustics lab. Basiclly, Im the guy that builds the stuff UL burns down for drywall fire ratings.
  2. Well, I once had a terrible cast,(just once ) that involved a backlash, a tree, shoreline weeds, and alot of swearing. Needless to say it sucked. Well, about ten yards up from the lure, I somehow managed to put a knot in the line. Since I was low on line to begin with, I put on a lure that I wasnt real worried about losing, and wouldnt you know, about an hour later it broke at the knot. So I guess what im saying is did you by any chance have a knot in the line you didnt know about? Oh yeah, it was 30# suffix performance braid.
  3. x2 Also, I would try a C-rig with a long leader along the weed edge.
  4. They can use any of my stuff EXCEPT my pt tour/carrot stix combo. Various shimanos, quantums, one browning, on a multitute of rods ranging from ugly sticks to pro qulifiers. Both spinning and casting.
  5. Welcome!
  6. Outstanding, I just love a hoppy ending! (wiping a tear from my eye)
  7. Ive never kept bass, but I do know you would have to dechlorinate the water with an aquarium treatment. (dechlor or equivelent) Also, if you plan on stocking from bass youve caught, make sure to obey limits and other laws.
  8. I have found that every ten casts or so its worth stripping line out until your guide and the line on the spool are lined up. I got one of those little hat lights for that, its awesome. Otherwise, just feel for it.
  9. Dude, jump on I55 south and head to the bolingbrook store. I prefer that store over Gurnee, I think there is better customer service. Otherwise, Im with you, BPS over cabellas, but I do like Gander also.
  10. I dunno if they rule, but they sure are alot of fun!
  11. Yeah, at the end of the day, at least it aint Detoit..... ;D
  12. Yeah, it was a general crap-fest on both sides. I actually blame our recievers more than Cutler, they kept effin up their routs. Its funny though, first half Cutler was a totally different quarterback than second half Cutler. BTW, helluva last drive for Rogers, Congrats.
  13. Welcome to the best site on the net!
  14. Oh, they break my heart every season, why do I ever expect differently.?
  15. No sweat my friend! Im guilty of it myself at times. :
  16. I think its this weather this summer Uncle Paul. Its been really screwy. Shoot down south of I80, its been better.
  17. Well, here we go.... Since I didnt post on the last one Ill sneek it in here before its closed ;D I have a 6'9" mh fast caster with a quantum pt tour on its back. I LOVE this rod, and more importantly this combo. Its super light, super responsive, and overall extremely comfortable to use. The one drawback I could maybe admit to is the guide noise when using braid. It dosnt bother me, but ive heard from some guys who were very irritated with it. If you dont use braid, or wouldnt be bothered by a little extra noise, I would certainly recommend this rod. Also, I would suggest searching the forums before ya ask a question, this one really has been beat to death lately. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1247611940 I truely mean that as friendly advise, dont mean to be a jerk or step on any toes!
  18. Is that on the Fox Chain, CWB?
  19. 2 seagulls(I call them S*%THawks) and a duck. Saved the duck.
