  1. LMAO!!!! I have a golf course by my house and I see a pond there but I am too embarrassed to try it out. It is right by teh road and I'm not sure there are fish in there
  2. Yeah bass fishing is tough but thats part of the fun; finding out how to catch them that day. For me, when I fish a worm its weightless and texposed. I keep a semi tight line at all times while its falling and when I know it hit bottom i give it a jerk or two and then lift it up and let it drop again.
  3. ^OOOR a 40 inch pike I don't really go winter fishign because once it freezes all hell breaks loose here in Illinois. If you are going to ice fish, go for crappie, pike, perch, and bluegill. The occascional bass here and there but I personally ahve ever fished in the winter in the ince
  4. I'm from Chicago, Illinois. Bass aren't that big here you're lucky to catch a 5 five pounder. Still fun though
  5. THanks a bunch! I will C-rig a kreature tonight
  6. I personally wouldn't recommend swivels. I would tie an albright knot with braid to mono. I think you lose sensitivy with a swivel. Also try fluorcarbon almost invisiible underwater
  7. Hey guys, I have a question about the C-rig. When you drag it do you just reel it in or pull it with your rod tip, reel in slack pull, repeat? Also are Kreatures good for C-rig?
  8. I have PP on my baitcaster and I love it. I am almost out though so I am going to switch to Sufix Promix(DNA). Its very strong, smooth casting and low stretch. u can find it on this site. another site. com sry I cant directly link cause it wont let me. I also tried YozuriHybrid and I didn't like it that much. tangled up toom much and was very springy
  9. I fish from shore so when the conditions are windy, sunny, algae blooms I should go to that part of the lake that the water/wind is moving towards? sorry for the stupid question I just want to become a better bass fisherman
  10. Some places are paying just for launching and stuff. Others are paying just to fish. There are a few that when you fish there and if you want to keep the fish, you have to pay per lb.
  11. Yeah, me too. For bass the best times I've had were at night or a little before sun down. During the day I can't seem to catch a bass :S
  12. Yeah thats the one I have. Its a great line. What lb test did you get it? After im done with the poerpro thats on my baitcsater i'll switch to promix again.
  13. beam.? Bouncing a jig or swimming it? btw greece are you greek?
  14. Well, theres sufix siege, elite, and promix and some other stuff. The only stuff I've used was Sufix DNA/Promix and its GREAT! Stiff but smooth so you can get great distance on it and low stretch. Great strength too.
  15. potomac bass fishing in arkansas good/bad?
  16. Iaconelli for sure. I'd learn a lot and hes a spaz too
  17. Na. Skokie laggoons, Lake Glenview, busse, etc. Northern stuff
  18. Chicago, illinois. Okay bassing here. Nothin special 5 lbs is a good bass here.
  19. Yeah, I hear ya. I haven't even caught a 5 or 4 lber yet. . Just started weighing them. Where in illinois do you fish?
  20. Hmm... I changed my mind on buying them. If they were a little smaller than probably but Not many 8lb+ bass in Illinois. State record is 13. If you catch a 5 lber here its a pretty nice obass.
  21. Thats what we use up here in Illinois. Large fathead minnows. aer rouglhy 1-1.5 inch each.
  22. another thing that is GREAT with minnows is to hook them up right above the lateral line by the top fin. ( I think thats the lateral line in the middle) If you see the action you will be like
  23. I've read good things about these from tackletour by lightningrod. Whats the action on these things? Does the tail wag like a fish? Its pretty expensive though; 3 for 29$ EDIT WOW!!! They look really realistic!!! Especially the bluegills!! I might order some
  24. yeah. I cant wait! sounds interesting.
  25. When trying to make a baby, you consider it spawning. ;D ;D
