Anyone rip dvd's to their computer?
that is certainly easy to use. I'm finding a lot of the movies I have are locked to where I can't copy them over. you run into this problem before?

Anyone rip dvd's to their computer?
Not sure why I haven't thought of this before, but I have a lot of DVD's that I no longer watch due to not having a dvd player anymore. SUre, I could go buy one, but With me streaming all tv content, I'd like to do it for my movies as well. I have attempted to use the Windows software VLC to do this, but I was denied ripping abilities more than not. I think one movie ripped out of 10. So I stopped, thinking maybe there was a lock or something that denied access to do this. Anyways, I can't be the only one that has wanted to do this. Can anyone recommend a dvd burning software to do this easily? I have seen some software pushing $85, but I'd certainly like to do this without the pretty penny attached, if possible.

Bass Pro Spring Sale
I will be attending this spring sale mainly due to the reel trade in. For those of you that buy Shimano, or know about any type of rebates during this sale...............Has anyone ever seen Shimano offer any rebates/offers if a reel or rod is purchased? I have never looked for Shimano specifically, but I don't ever recall seeing any. It's always been other brands. I'm looking to get the NASCI 3000. (Rebate/offer or not). I'll be trading a reel in to make this purchase.

Favorite Pliers
I recently purchased the 9" Berkley pliers. Came with a lanyard/sheath. Have it attached to the side of my kayak. I didn't have much need for the split ring tool, since I deal with split ring replacement at home. I have a small split ring tool for that. But here is what I use....... https://www.amazon.com/Berkley-Aluminum-Pliers-7-Inches/dp/B011LVL4GU/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=berkley%2Bfishing%2Bpliers&qid=1582637432&sr=8-5&th=1&psc=1

Adding running lights to no hull access kayak
The stern light would be behind the seat, out of view. I don't think getting blinded by the white light would be an issue.

Small 2 man bass boat options....
I'll weigh in on this. Although I do not have one of these boats, I do have experience fishing from one. My friend in Kentucky owns the Sundolphin Sportsman boat. He uses one battery which he places at the back of the boat. That battery powers the trolling motor located at the front. We have never had the battery die on us. But it primarily runs the TM. If and when he decides to install a Fish Finder, I have no doubt that there wouldn't be sufficient power to run that as well. This boat is large enough for both of us, 6 rods, and our tackle bags. Although it looks like an oversized bathtub, it certainly performs very well. We stand up, and sit down to fish and have never had any issues. It's very stable. He has some modifications shown on his youtube channel of said boat, if you'd like to check them out. He'll be adding more videos on this boat throughout this coming season. His username on youtube is MiniBoatin'. Although he has the boat on a trailer, he used to have a Nissan pick up, and hauled it around on there till the trailer came in the picture. So it CAN be done. https://directboats.com/sporminbasbo.html?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adwords&id=60306043005&gclid=Cj0KCQiAs67yBRC7ARIsAF49CdXfjO9kl4KP90BhCDb1iT_SL0stw1CBZCnf6YPnm8LCuX-2Z-ccSiAaAlV7EALw_wcB

Adding running lights to no hull access kayak
I had to re-read the rules. I apologize. I see it now, no green/red. Only white. That certainly fixes my problem. I could have swore I needed red/green This kills this DIY mindset Thanks for steering me in the right direction

Adding running lights to no hull access kayak
I have a Perception Pescador Pro 100 kayak. I am seriously entertaining the thought of adding night time running lights to the bow/stern. I have highly considered buying battery operated lights that I can easily remove, and install quickly when the need arises. This would certainly be the easiest route. Certainly don't fish at night, but I also think that is due to the fact that I don't have them installed. With some tournaments coming up in April, the kick off time will definitely be before any glimpse of sunlight appears. Anyways, I have also entertained the thought of permanently installing LED strips, that have the light being hard wired. My problem, as the title notes, I have zero hull access in the front of the yak. I thought about drilling a small hole in the kayak, where the wires would enter, continue the hole through the 2nd wall of plastic, which would then have the wire coming through into the area where my battery sits. I could easily provide some type of flexible surface mounted conduit to the kayak to conceal the wire. I don;t know what to use to seal both holes in the 1st and 2nd wall that I drill through, and not having it look like ass. I certainly don;t want a gaping hole, with clear silicon. I'd like a black plug if possible. Again, not having any access through the front, makes it less than ideal. Here is a picture of what I'm thinking. The red and green lines are obviously the lights. The white line is the routing of the wire which dumps in to the area below the net, and where the battery sits. As I said, I could do a removable light, that is powered by D batteries, and Call it a day. But it would certainly look better if the lights were permanent fixtures. Any thoughts on how to terminate this light set up?

Perception Pescador Pro 100 - bump board storage
the only problem I have attaching things to the seat, is during transport. For the time being, I have to transport the kayak on top of my vehicle, so that means everything has to come off the kayak, and put inside the vehicle. So that means the seat needs to collapse/fold up in order to do this. As long as the seat could fold and still have a small footprint, then I could see that working.

Perception Pescador Pro 100 - bump board storage
the pliers holster is fastened with exterior rated velcro. I glued the velcro to the back of the pouch using a gel super glue. Then fastened everything with velcro to the hull. Nice and tight. It aint moving (no, I did not glue the velcro to the hull) As for the pill bottle box. I ended up picking those boxes up at the Dollar Tree. They came in a pack of 2, for $1. It just so happened it was the exact size as that cutout between the seat. fit perfectly. I drilled two holes in the backside of the container, big enough for zip ties to go through. Then secured them to the lower seat frame. I also drilled two holes in the bottom of it for drain holes. Prior to this mod, I had my pill bottles in the pockets of my pfd. That worked fine, but I like the idea of them out in the open for easy access.

Perception Pescador Pro 100 - bump board storage
It's good. thank you though. For now, I'll just lay it down at my feet and see how that goes. Till I have a genius idea of where else to store it. I have two months to figure it out.

Perception Pescador Pro 100 - bump board storage
I used to have a 12'-8" kayak, and that was wasted space. Never used it. This one fits me nicely. The wheels take up a good amount of space. I could leave them at the car when unloading it, but that's a PITA to go back and forth, especially if I don't need to. Other than the 3 planos, bag of worms, and the rods/net, I don't have much. The c-tug wheels sure are bulky tho

Perception Pescador Pro 100 - bump board storage
This is most likely going to relate to a very small audience, but here goes. Does anyone have a Perception Pescador Pro 100, and have a hawg trough mounted? If so, how and where do you store your hawg trough / bump board for easy out of the way access? I have seen a couple videos on youtube for storing this thing, but they don't exactly work for my kayak layout. I have seen the hawg trough mounting brackets that get mounted in the track system. I have seen the brackets that get mounted to the crate/storage box located behind your seat. Neither of which I am a fan of. I have tried storing it under my seat, but it sticks out to far between my legs and it blocks valuable deck space for holding my planos. I have attachments in my side track system which would interfere with laying the trough flat. There is the option of just laying it on the floor board, but then I'm sure it would get tangled within my legs and I'd have to fight to get it out when ready. I thought of storing it behind my seat, but I have my kayak wheels, crate, and dry bag behind me. Any opportunity to NOT have to turn around in my seat to get something, is highly desired. I don't have the comfort level yet to move around without fear of rolling. I know I am limiting myself here, but there's gotta be a happier place for it. Length is the real issue with it. That limits me. So, anyone got any better suggestions? Maybe a picture of my kayak layout as it sits, might help.

Garmin Striker 4 Wiring at the battery
I kinda assumed that was going to be the answer, but figured I'd ask. I don't deal with wiring that small in size, nor the connectors, so I wasn't sure if there was a remedy for this possible issue. thanks for the response.
