  1. Not the best foil jobs. But the bass here love chrome, so here you go bassy bassy.
  2. Here's some I did for a buddy.
  3. The lipless is awesome!!! Does it have a rattle and what is the weight? David

That bottom bait is awesome, hope you don't mind if I steal that paint pattern from you. David
  5. J.M. Don't look to save much money painting your own baits, but you will definitely be throwing something no one else is. Myself, I tell all my buddies to go through their boxes for cranks they don't use, give them to me and I'll give them back a few newly painted baits and keep the rest. Now they've got some lures they will throw and I got some to paint and it didn't cost either of us any $$$. I also feel this gets you better baits than with the above mentioned suppliers. If you got enough fishing buddies it could add up to a lot of free baits. David
  6. I like that! And the fact that you can make it any size you want is a huge plus. David

Matt, I let mine dry between coats, if you don't it's like one heavy coat which is not good. Only takes a few minutes to dry. If you do more than one bait at a time the first one will dry while you're spraying the second bait. Yes you can use a hairdryer to speed things up. I too have a PS 900 and I use the .3 for everything, have never even used the .2. To clean gun I go to sink and run water in cup to get excess paint out then I remove needle rinse and wipe needle then I fill cup up with water and I know this sounds funny but I put my mouth over cup and blow, this will shoot water out the tip and the back of gun at the same time. do that 4 or 5 times till it runs clear. Also I will blow in the tip to back flush. This is the easiest and fastest way I've found to clean this gun, works for me anyway. Not a pro here so may be better ways, this is just my way. David
  9. SWEEET. Like the trout, looks familiar. David
  10. Maybe someone here knows what is causing this. I have a Raymarine DS 400 and the transducer that came with it which has speed and temp sensors. About 70% of the time I here the transducer clicking the other 30% it is silent. So is it going bad? David
  11. Turn the idle adjustment screw on the carb clockwise until it will idle with the throttle all the way closed. You may have to play with it a bit to get it right. Could also be the throttle cable is out of adjustment. David
  12. The bone/orange back is my fav of this group, but they all ROCK! David
  13. Do ya think if ya stored some soft plastics in a half full coffee container would it impart some scent into them? If so, how long do you think they would have marinate to get a good scent? David
  14. Don't know if it has a carb or not but if so, sounds like maybe a little piece of dirt is stuck between the float needle and seat which will let gas continue to flow and run out the overflow. Fairly easy fix if so inclined. David
  15. Did it with rattle cans. WOW!!! Amazing job. David
  16. I just did a couple of cranks after this guy showed me how. Should work for swimbaits if you do them before final assembly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPIwwO2qrpM
  17. These are my favorites of all your work thus far.
  18. Here are some cranks Steve sent me to paint for him in trade for some of his jigs. Sweet deal for both I think. I sure hope he thinks the same. He will have to wait till he gets back from Lake Mead to see them but ya'll don't. hehe David
  19. Got my jigs today, they are bad@$$. The Living Image skirts are second to none and I see no reason to throw any other jig unless it's in the trash. I sure hope to use them this weekend. Looking foward to getting more. Great work Steve! I should have your cranks done this weekend and will post pics. David
  20. Rage Tail Toad!!!
  21. Were they chrome? They're the worst. I always put 2 coats of clear on them right out of the box, works perfect. Take one and get the rest of the paint off so it is solid white and hold on tight. David
  22. hawgchaser, If you don't want them I'll pay shipping to my house. Thats when I like em best. David
