I was just on the Bullet website---take a look at Model 20CC. It's a center console with one seat. What would you do with this?? Not to mention the color scheme---it's just not my style!!

I have had problems with certain brands of FC, but once I found one I liked, I haven't had a problem. I think FC is great for all the usual reasons: invisibilty, sensitivity etc. I haven't used KVD L&L, but after reading all the positives about it here, I'm going to give it a try this season.

I work in banking operations and I previously worked in the check fraud area. We had a lot of lotto scams which seemed to target the older folks. They would get a letter and a check stating they won the lottery from some foreign country. They would then tell you to deposit the check ($10,000) and then send them back $3000 for processing fees and taxes. So, the person that received the check would then deposit a bogus $10,000 check and then withdraw "real" money ($3000) from their account and sending it back to the scammers. All the while thinking they should have an additional $7000 in their account, but in reality they would be out $3000. It was very sad because we would get calls from the people that fell for this and at that point, there really wasn't anything that could be done on our end. You could tell that these were people that REALLY needed money too. They were devastated when we told them what had transpired. At the sametime you think to yourself, they know they didn't play the lotto in Zimbabwe, so how could they have won---but people fall for it, especially in todays economy.

I agree. Compared to the trouble that so many other athletes are getting themselves into, we should be praising T.O. And he will be playing next year. He's one of the best 10 receivers playing today, even if he has lost a step or two. Heck, just look at Manny Ramirez for a perfect example. Everyone in baseball hates him, but they love his batting production. Praise TO > > >!!! Football is one of the biggest TEAM sports there are. You can have all the talent in the world and if you can't work within a team, or better yet destroy a team, the talent is worthless. He's not standoffish---he's a jerk!!! He can say all he wants about his team and teamates, but keep it in the locker room. And keep it between yourself and the player you have an issue with. Don't get on TV and call all your teammates out, especially when you drop 5 passes a game!!! Ohh, and he does have a case of the alligator arm when he comes across the middle!!! Did everyone forget about his little "suicide" issue, that wasn't a suicide attempt, but it was, but it wasn't---what a fruitcake!!!

FLW Pros fish Ranger more for the bonus money they can get rather just the fact that Ranger is the major sponsor.

I believe that Gary Clouse from Stratos is leading that company now. He did a lot in getting Stratos back on the map, so maybe he'll get Phoenix to be strong in the market too. But, longevity is a valid concern.

Being a LONG TIME Eagles fan, I know all about the TO fiasco!!! Now that his talents are diminishing, I'm not so sure a team will be as willing to take him as they were in the past. I think the only one crazy enough to take him is Al Davis. He'll give him a 5 yr--$100mil contract!!!! :D :D

I think it can only help. You can see how the fish are relating to cover. You can have someone run lures by you and see what they really look like down there. You could also see how the colors of your baits change as you fish deeper in the water column. Also, you could do some experimenting and see if what you thought you saw on your graph is what really is down there. All this info can be used later to help you visualize when you're out there fishing. Getting some lures is definately another plus!!!

I fished out of a Bullet and you are dead on. This boat hauled major a-- and rode really nice, but it was horrible to fish out of. At that time I was a co-angler and the back deck was VERY small. The storage sucked too!! The livewells weren't all that great either.

They may have moved since I called, but the "Bill" that I spoke to was NOT in Austin. I could also hear the other employees on the phone, and they didn't sound like they were from Austin either, unless Austin is next to Mumbai, India!!!

Man, and I thought I was the only one mechanically impaired. I think the husker du is not centered properly. All you need to do is add some water to your flux copacetor!! Sorry, I couldn't help myself. ;D I too am mechanically challenged.

Do you ever get over that orange color?? That is the main reason I never bought one, I don't think I could handle seeing that bright orange blank in the morning!!

the bait should work properly, but keep in mind what's under the surface. If you're fishing over weeds and need to yank them out, then I wouldn't rely on your 6-10# line.

I would say 6 1/2-7 1/2. Chatauqua is a awesome lake. There are monster Largmouth there too. Even in the summer tourney I was in there took 20 something to win.

See if there any bass clubs in your area that have "junior" members. A club around here also collects unused tackle and puts on a raffle to raise funds for the club. Maybe you could put on a brief presentation for a boys/girls club and then give the participants some tackle to take home

I have a Dell and had an issu----the customer service sucked!!! I was on the phone for over an hour with "Bill" from India, I ended up hanging up the phone and fixed the problem myself. Luckily with Dell the problems are few and far between so you don't have to call Cust. Service too often.

The difference is just as he stated, old ones are one piece and the new ones are two. The old and new do have different actions. The old one seems to have more of the random darting action than the new ones. What I mean is, as the bait is moving, the old ones will move to one side than back to center and so on. The new ones seem to have a more consistant action like a typical crank. One is not better than the other, but keep the difference in action in mind when selecting them out on the water. The fish might like one action over the other.

I used it and hated it. I could break the 8lb with my hands. It also felt very stiff compared to other FC's. Do a search on here too, someone else asked about this not too long ago.

I was just curious if the smallies down south like purple as much as our northern smallies.

I would agree that any quality reel will last you a very long time as long as you maintain them. As someone suggested, go to a store and check them out and see what feels good to YOU. Shimano are good for some guys, but they might not be what you're looking for. As with everything in fishing, keep an open mind and check out ALL your options. But remember, it's your money and your the one using it, so go with what feels good to you, not what with what feels good to us!
