  1. pretty much any style of ribbon tail worm. fish determine the color.
  2. Fishing is my favorite thing to do, i cant do it in the winter because of me being a northern guy but i love it. Lacrosse is second. Sucks because lacrosse season is in the spring...
  3. I don't know any places other than metro beach to fish at by me, and there are toooo many people there and not enough fish to go around. Any one got any spots that are holding bass?
  4. well the ones at sports authority were 10.95. maybe, just a bad store.
  5. well since i fish from shore and I'm just pitching to pockets to the left or right on me i find that you can't set the hook like you normally would. i set the hook a little harder than the motion of hopping a jig back.
  6. So i don't have a boat, so I'm limited to shore fishing until i do. Since bass relate to offshore structure in the summer, might there be any lingering bass in the shallows i can catch? and if so, how?
  7. Is there any lure that is as good as an suspending x-rap but perhaps cheaper?
  8. nice fish bro. shore fishing for life! until i get a boat lol.
  9. bass resource. and time on the water helps
  10. I thin America is good, it is a lot more worse in Mexico because they don't have the sanitation that we do. we ain't the cleanest nation, but we ain't filthy Also, my high school is closed due to the swine flu, some1 in our school supposedly has it.
  11. i caught one while pan fishing with a worm, it tangled in my line after thrashing, wasn't hooked. I see them all the time when i bass fish in the spring, they scare all the bass and pan fish away so I'm not a big fan of them. i have tried to catch them on a jitter bug, but they only seem to come up to it, check it out then glide on out.
  12. ya hopefully the weatherman holds up his end of the bargain, but in Michigan, you never now. i got a lacrosse game Saturday so ima have to go on Sunday.
  13. tied on an x-rap, casted, and off gone with the wind was my lure. i dint even get to have a fish on the other end :'(. luckily the x-rap was a gift. I still feel kinda stupid though
  14. x2 along this river i fished i found little blue worm container after little blue worm container. and then bags of empty soda and water bottles hanging from the bushes near the spot. I picked up probably around 25 of those things.
  15. well i can answer your last question, i had a same scenario except in stained water (about 2 feet of clarity), i would drag it really slow and then give it some quick jerks like a real craw fish does. I got several bass doing that, that was the only time i used a jig though, but it worked. if you ever watched a real craw fish(which is what a jig mainly imitates), they crawl pretty slow and then jet off going backwards. And im not sure but i think fliuping and pitching are the same thing? There are guys on here with years more experience than me, im sure they will be here any moment
  16. top notch bro 8-)
  17. i spent 205 i only brought 100, my mom bailed me out and i had to repay her when i got home he is a quick lil wretched
  18. tying on one of those $1 buzzbaits from walmart.
  19. okay so i meant to say "how do they affect fishing"?
  20. I sometimes hear about the pros talking about cold front and warm fronts, and how they affect fishing, but i never seem to understand. Can someone help me here?
  21. some one did something similar like this to me, and now I'm hooked. good job mate.
  22. i would say so, we northern guys don't see those 10lbers as much so where 10-11lb is our state record, a 5lb is a great catch.
  23. Aww man, that was rough. done
  24. i like brown and green worms. pumpkin seed, watermelon, those are the main colors i like to use ANYWHERE. also motor oil is cool too, a Berkly power worm in motor oil is my go to bait, it looks brownish but when in water it turns green
