I've noticed that fisherman will burn lipless cranks in the winter time to get a reaction strike, what about a spinner-bait? Now i know the spinner-bait winter rule; BIGGEST colorado blade you can get a way with and reeled in as slow as possible, but, how about tearin through the water as well, maybe instead of a colorado blade, substitute it for a willow leaf blade?

wait for a day where it rains, and muddies up the water, then wait several more days, the muddy water should have warmed up a couple degrees more and fish will move up sometimes, try a buzz-bait around logs or parallel to weed lines, or a jig usually works in winter worked really slow too.

Ive never run into any anti fishers but i did have an instance where some punks were fishing about 20 yds away from me, they caught a nice 2lber and when they went to go release it, they launched it up into the air and it came down on a boulder in the water, i think it died on impact. I scolded them "If your gonna act like and kill fish for *** and giggles that then why don't you just leave". Then they mumbled something and left. They came back with there daddy, he asked me if i was harassing his kids. I told him what happened then he gave his kids a talking lol.

while i dont think my problem has snowballed yet, i have a minor one. i have like 20 types of soft plastics i bring with me, but i only use like 1 or 2. :-[

I have another question about swim-baits, when i section a swim-bait, like make the joint part. Should I do anything special(es:shaping, weight placement..etc) to make the swimming motion, or does physics just work its magic?

I looked and looked but I can't seem to find any little smiley faces giving the finger... X2 Winter blows. Currently i'm: playing with my tackle, reading here on the forums, and window shopping, actual shopping, and daydreaming about spring, that's how i get by. Maybe some practice casting, yeah that sounds good, tie a bone to some line and mess with the dog.

I'm currently 15,(turning 16 in February), and the only reason that I could see my self wanting sponsors if I wanted to get my name out there asap, if I was looking into fishing in some of the big name tournaments. But inorder to get your name out there, youd probly have to be a great fisherman, im good, but im not great, and for now, its for fun. Fish now, think later.

I use them on spinners and jigs, i think it works great, dont use a whole night crawler though use like a half or a quarter of one because they are huge, the only bad thing is they come off a lot and if there are blue gills or perch, be ready for constatnt re-baiting.

I'm currently using a spinning rod and reel and i use my right hand for rod and left for retrieving. I wanna buy a Daiwa Procaster but i think it only comes in right hand retrieve. I it weird that I don't use my dominant hand for retrieve?

I was wondering what kind of rod would be good paired with the New Bass Pro Shops Bionic Plus Baitcast Reel, I would like to have a rod that is an all around rod. Any ideas?
