i got a small tackle box, and a big tackle box. One is where i store all my stuff, and the other one is for when i go fishing. Since i don't have a ton of room for everything, i need to bring lures that will do work. So here are the conditions: the last 4 days have been high 50s/low 60s, and tomorrow, the high is supposed to be 74. The water is pretty muddy/stained, and there are no weeds, and no clouds. I'm fishing in a little canal, and around docks. and i don't have a boat. So what are the lures that will pack a punch for these conditions?

this may sound weird but Berkly power worm, 1/16oz weight, and a 4/0 offset worm hook, seems so simple but by me everyone wants to use spinner baits and crank baits, i rarely see anyone using plastic worms.

So i took my fly rod to the local park and there were PLENTY of people there. i didn't really know what i was doing but i saw some other guy fly fishing there last year and he caught pan fish and bass, so i thought ide try. I wasn't getting even a bite, and then i called my dad to come and pick me up. after i got off the phone one of the guys about 20 yds down from me caught a 3lb bass. ridiculus, I'm going back tomorrow and I'm fishing all day.

Well that's what the dnr guy said, even catch and release is bad. but if you wanna fish for "pike" and "accidentally" catch a few bass.....

So i was gonna go fly fishing with my new rod that i got as a present and there arnt any rivers around me so i was gonna go to a canal that has panfish, bass and carp. how do i reel in a fish when i hook one?

Go with spro, dont buy the "snag proof" ones the weight falls out of them and they fill with water.

worms always do me quite a bit of luck from shore. also, spinner baits and buzz baits. i like to cast worms right on the edge of a weed line and work back parallel to it.

Ya, i didn't find that out till 2 days ago, i got busted by DNR, at least he wasn't a ***** about, he just told me that i couldn't fish for bass and that bass season starts the 3rd week in April. he was pretty cool about it.

all the snow is gone and the ice is off the water by me, but we did get some peculiar weather, a week of high 40s then wham bam boom, snow, now we are in the 50s. i hate Michigan.

Just to clarify the whole bonus situation. These bonuses are not performance based bonuses. They are termed bonuses as they are paid in one lump sum, however, they are actually more like the employee's salary. The corporations rig the employee's salary so that they pay them a small percentage of their salary throughout the year and then pay a large percentage of it in one lump sum (the "bonus"). This is done to provide an incentive for that employee to remain at the company. That's why they call them "retention bonuses". BTW I'm not arguing whether or not those people should have received their bonus, I'm just trying to clarify the situation a bit because the news reporting has been pretty bad about the whole thing. Thxs, i dint really know much about the bonus situation. I hope everything turns out okay.

Well Obama gave his verdict about the auto companies. they are not getting anymore help. If Gm and Chrysler go under, then ford will be sure to follow. I live in Michigan, I'm right in the middle of the auto industry, just about everyone is involved with the auto industry here. I may be only 16, but if Ford, GM, and Chrysler go down, this isn't gonna be a little speed bump, there is gonna be a lot of trouble. How come companies like AIG get help even though they are giving out millions in bonus', but no help is given the American auto industry, which tried to adjust. They made more fuel efficient cars, but then gas went down, they got the short end of the stick and they need help now. If i don't have some of my facts straight feel free to correct, me, ide like some good news... :-/ So now i wanna ask 2 questions and see what you guys think: 1. Watup with the economy? Are we still in a recession, is it getting better, is it going to get worse? 2. How badly do you think the US will be affected if the automakers fail.

the universe is big, and that's a gargantuanesitologicalimsitiscal understatement. to think we are the only one on the field is stupid, I E.T.s i also believe that ancient cities and stuff were built with the help of E.T.s, they might have helped knowing that early civilization would perceive them as gods, or whatever, to where as today, they are checking up on us, maybe we are and experiment, maybe we are the aliens, maybe, there are multiple universe, we just cant see that far, maybe we are the only life forms in this place. truth is, we may think we know a lot about space, but we don't, we don't know jack squat.

yeah i have a weird reflex that whenever anything related to fishing is on tv, i gotta watch it till the fishing subject is gone. I think it was a commercial for 5hr energy shots, they are talking to some race car driver, and he says "fishin with my buddies" and all i could do was turn back to that channel and watch till it was over.

ya that heppened to me, i was fishing, and wasnt really catching anything. i was casting across a creek and then reeling in my swimbait back, then a guy in some nice 30 grand boat stops right in my line of fire. so i started casting right next to his boat, he looked at his bass buddy, whispered somthing then left. Also when guys with boats think there better than shore fisherman, when i know every part of this creek and can out fish just about anyone 3-1 there. another, FRESHMAN, i was playing basketball, and i totally schooled him and he says "WOW, you think your cool or somthing?" i says"no i think im good at basket ball, stop crying like a ***** and play the game" my gym is 45 freshman and me, the only sophmore , i hate freshman, cocky little punks.

How many people in your family fish at all, bass, walleye, pan-fish? I have only my uncle, he is more of a walleye/pike guy though :'(. I'll have to change that.
