  3. looking for good places to fish using a small boat in the Monadnock area. spoffard lake has been crazy with all the jetskiers and tubers. we fished wilson pond today and only caught perch. we would like to catch smallies or northern pike even though the pike will probably be too deep now. what are the best small ponds in this area to fish that dont have alot of pleasure boaters stirring up the waves? thanks in advance. we love this part of new hampshire!!!---tom
  4. hit behind margarita's d**n for a few hopping to catch some smallies and caught this thing. what is it?
  5. thank you fmoore. wilson pond is about an hour and twenty minute drive for me. is that where you caught that giant pike you caught earlyer this year.
  6. im definetly interested. me and my wife have caught some on the concord river in bedford mass. where do you get them up your way?
  7. wow, 5 dyas without anyone posting. is the season over? its been too windy for me to take out the boat but i did manage to get about a dozen lmb/smb below margaritas dam yesterday. nothing over a pound. anyways i managed a 2 and 3 pounder before last weeks rain.
  8. my 10 footer is up for sale($200) if anyone is interested. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1286220317/0
  9. caught a 3.9# bass there last month. we caught a s load of really small bass last time we went. lots of pickeral, perch and crappie in there too. cool. i usualy have better luck further up. did you see all the bass boats there saturday morning? i was there testing my new motor but left after a few minutes.
  10. did you catch anything big? i caught a 4.5# bass a while back, but other than that ive never caught anything big there. me and my wife put in at mines falls a couple weeks back and headed up 3 miles and fished our way back. we were surprised to see smallies in this stretch of the river. we also caught lmb, yellow perch , crappie, bluegills and a fallfish. we caught about a dozen fish a peice but nothing over a pound. we werent really expecting anything big anyways so we were just using mepps spinners. just a relaxing day catching anything that would bite.
  11. looks like a creek or river chub. my wife caught one yesterday at the nashua river. http://www.fish.state.pa.us/pafish/fishhtms/chap11.htm
  12. derek, is that secret pond G? if youde like to fish cobbetts legaly this weekend let me know. we can get the tracker in, we just need to take my buddy. he's cool.
  13. if your taking a boat bring a push pole. seriously, its too overgrown to fish now.
  14. otternic is a million times better than it was two years ago. it used to be 2/3 weeds and you couldnt even run a prop out there. i havent got skunked there yet since the weed kill. i caught a 3.9# two weeks back. i bet the fishing will improve over the next few years now that the water is open. where did you see the millfoil? to the left of the launch? i have my best luck from the right of the launch to the trailer park. look for the dropoffs.
  15. wow. i only got three. ive never seen it this shallow before.
  16. im heading to robinson right now. if anybody wants to fish ill be there in an half hour. ill be the guy with the "team diawa hat"
  17. cant go over to the beach area unless your a resident. not a big deal unless there is a pond host there.
  18. unless its closer ide hit robinson. they are simular, tons of small bass.
  19. i got a 4 pounder at potanipo this year. we always catch at least a couple dinks when we go there. the boat raffic is bad enough to make you seasick in a small boat. probably best to fish there durring the week. the nh state record is from potanipo. 10 pounds!!! when we first started getting back into fishing my wife caught this pig there. we didnt have a scale then though.
  20. dunklee sucks. you need to get permision from the police dept to fish there anyways. nashua river for the most part sucks, but i did manage a 4 pounder a couple weeks back. they are in there if you can find them. i usualy cant.
  21. im not going to be able to make it. i only have 14 hours of vacation time left to last me the year and im gonna need it.
  22. im in if derek has a seat for me on his boat.
  23. derek, my phone is messed up again. text me if you still want to go fishing.
