  3. I haven't been checked in years. I know all the wildlife folks on a first name basis. It makes no difference they are friends, they have a job to do. I buy my license each year and would never strain those friendships. I will leave the sub topic be, other than to say @A-Jay stated my thoughts to a tee.
  4. Congratulations! I have 5 years to go. I can't wait! The one thing,g my daddy always told me; the first seven years is top notch, the next two you are looking for things to do. The next 4 years( he passed shortly there after) he simply relaxed, did as he pleased, made sure his affairs were in order, and insisted his kids came home as much as they reasonably could.
  5. Another vote for Columbia..... I just like the fit, they keep me cool, and for some reason I'm brand loyal, to a fault sometimes. It usually takes a lot for me to change.

Me and the old hippie hit the swamp for two days fishing. This is day one. We usually see a gator here and there but never had one just watch us. He/she never threatened nor was aggressive so it didn't bother us. There were no big fish caught but we boated 18 in 5 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The majority came on R.I. Skinny Dipper for me and a Yamamoto Swimming Senko for my brother. We did have a double which was nice as we had talked earlier about not having one for a few years. It was kind of cool him setting the hook and me no more than two seconds later. The one thing about this place; I have fished here for 50 years and I can safely say it is my favorite place to fish! So many memories, so many life changes, but this place still burns bright and has kicked out thousands of bass. Enjoy!
