  1. If you are set on the reel, you should check Shimano rods, as stated above. The Compre is underpriced IMO, and are great rods. Check out Bucoo's too! I had the 6'10" Bucoo, and it was great for lighter jigs, spinnerbaits, senkos, etc. I just traded it though because I got a Powell 683C as an early Christmas present, and didn't need so many MH rods.
  2. I love it how they play it back, and you hear him scream like a girl over and over. Priceless.
  3. You can buy a Chem-light and cut the top off and dip your worms in it. Those are some steep prices.
  4. Anyone have any consistant problems with it? Is the SupremeXT worth the xtra cash?
  5. Powell 683C, St. Croix Avid AVC70MHF/MHXF, really there are alot of good models to choose from. The 6'10" Bucoo is a great choice for the money also.
  6. You might want to buy some extra plastics, in case you lose the ones in your picture. ;D Nice selection
  7. If I go to fish docks at Edgewater Park at night (Lake Erie- Cleveland) I always carry(S&W 457), and never go alone. Other than that most of the time I wear my K-bar on my hip. It works good on braided line, cutting up Bluegills for bait, and lets punks know what they have in store. I look at like this. If you have a couple thousand in gear, and those types of garbage are hanging around, you should carry away. If your against firearms, you should google 911 calls when people shot an intruder, it will open your eyes to how they felt as victims.
  8. I wanted to see it in the theaters, but never got a chance to go. I bought it online last night on PSN, and it was so good, I watched it twice. It's like Shawn of the dead, but with humor Americans get, and lots of guns. I highly recommend you guys rent it.
  9. I have 2 Shimano Symetre 2500's already, and am looking for a reel in the $85-120 range.I like the Symetre just fine, just not the new greenish ones. That new Stradic is pretty sexy, but not sure about dropping that much on a spinning reel. How does the Supreme stack up to the other reels in its price point?
  10. I'm looking at the Supreme 8030 and 8035 spinning reels. I was wondering if the 8030 is more like is more like an UL reel, or a 2000 or 2500 type reel? I do like the reduced weght, and the price is nice. Opinions?
  11. I'm sorry for not being clearer. The rods recommended were spnning rods.
  12. I use baitcasting gear mostly for those techniques, but if your fishing upto 1/2 oz. a 7' MF rod should do. Or if you feel that you need more backbone go with a MH. Powell 703 or 704EF would make for a nice setup. St. Croix Avids are excellent, and Shimano Compre rods are really nice for the price also. Grab your reel and go to your nearest tackle purveyor and check them out.
  13. I'd get a couple gold plated Zebco 33's
  14. I thought the Mojo was made with the Premier blank. I had a Bucoo baitcast rod, and for the price it was great. You should really check out the Shimano Compre which is in the same price range. I have two Compre spinning rods, and for $100-110 you can't go wrong. I played with the Carbon Lite rods and wasn't impressed at all. Slap a Symetre 2500 on it and you will be set. I'd rank these rods as 1. Shimano Compre 2. Falcon Bucoo 3. Mojo 4. BPS
  15. Terminators make awesome spinnerbaits. I tried their jigs out this past year and was really impressed also.
  16. Take a look at the Powell 683 or 684. I've never used a MH spinning rod before, but the 683 MEF is a great rod. I use spinning gear for shakey heads, small jigs with grubs, and wacky worms. Another good rod to look at is St. Croix Avid series.
  17. love the Salt Licks, T-Mac, C-Mac, of course all Pacas, Finesse worms. The only ones I don't like is the creature baits, I've never had any luck with those. I have been picking Pacas up for 2 bucks a bag on ebay all winter.
  18. In the Marines a platoon is as strong as your weakest link. And when that weak link screwed up, the rest of us were punshed for it. You really have love corporal punishment huh? It is really discouraging having to sit in a room, and watch all of those stupid videos. And the sad fact is, is that they made those videos for the 2% that have no morals and common sense at all, and probably had no biz working there in the first place. Life is good!
  19. The only Suffix line I hve used is the Sonic Braid. It is good stuff. I had it spooled on 2 reels all year and no problems with binding, nesting, wind knots whatsoever.
  20. check out powell rods. It depends on where you are fishing, but stick between 6'6" and 7'. Look at Powell 682 and 683CEF, or 702 and 703CEF. Also Falcon Bucoo, and Shimano Compre are great rods for around a hundy. good luck!
  21. it has been under construction for quite awhile now. i can't wait either.
  22. Check out St. Croix Mojo/Premier rods, Falcon Bucoo, Shimano Compre. All are good rods around $100. For spinning reels Look at Shimano Symetre/Sahara 2500's. I really like the Symetre, and the Sahara is a little cheaper. Also if you wait til spring you can find deals at Cabelas. I got an XML rod for $35 normally they are $135 Tackle Warehouse also will have sales, but when they don't, they still rock with their awesome shipping.
  23. If you're really brave, try shooting a glass of prune juice. All of that Fiber One stuff is absolutely brtual on my guts.
  24. Spent 10 yrs. USMC, got med-boarded out. Now I collect V.A. disability checks, and am going to school studying cardiovascular sonography (Ultrasound for heart and blood vessels).
  25. That is one of those new " Gender Neutral Soldiers". WTH is that thing. think I just LOL'd in my pants.
