  1. Oregon should change their names from the Ducks to the Hooligans.
  2. That reel would look sexy on my Noodle rod.
  3. I like to fish them split shot style in shallow water, and T-rigged w/ a lighter weight. I caught some nice fish with it, and even some not much bigger than itself.
  4. I have 2 Compre spinning rods, and they are great rods. I had the Bucoo MH BC rod and liked it, but traded it for one of the Compres. I can't comment on the rest.
  5. ***.com has Abu Garcia Revo Premiers on sale for $179.99 USD, but don't know if they'll ship to you. You should be able to find them on ebay for similar price-These are the older version, and not the new ones.
  6. I use Goby's in rivers, and Lake Erie for Smallies, and Walleye. I put them on a 1/8 oz. gold with eye, or chartreuse jighead.
  7. I had a Bucoo, but traded it for a Compre. Now I have 2 Compres a 7' M XF, and a 6'6" M XF. Don't get me wrong the Bucoo is a good rod, I just prefer the Compre.
  8. 9.5 years active USMC, 0341 got out august of 07
  9. I wish those companies recorded me when I am on hold for insane amounts of time. I swear more than a rap song to those stupid recordings. My wife makes me go outside when on hold.
  10. Firetiger sucks, another color I don't like is clown by Rapala. I try to use these bright colors when conditions call for it, but have more luck with white/chartreuse.
  11. T-rigged with a light weight, on a jig head.
  12. They mustve sold out because the only crankbaits they list are Gambler Custom Cranks for $15.99 ea. It may be an in store only, sorry.
  13. finfeatherfuroutfitters.com has them buy two get one free. I stared using them last year (thanks to this forum),and love them. Try Black/Silver, Black/Blue/Orange belly, Red Craw.
  14. 7'6" MF Lowrider with Revo STX , and 10lb. Pline. I like the longer rod for more leverage. 6.4:1 ratio seems fine for me. I use XR 50&75's, If I did use heavier i'd go with MHF Avid
  15. Warsteiner Dunkel Spaten Oktoberfest Great Lakes Christmas Ale, Octoberfest, Conways Irish Ale....Well now that I think about it, I like to drink all of their beers McCewans Scotch Ale Sam Adams And if I go to a bar with poor taste in beer, I'll slum it and drink Bud. I do like Abita's beers, but it's hard to find around here.
  16. I hope you like those rods. My wife came home with a new purse. I know she won't buy one that costs under $300-$350, plus you know she had to get the matching wallet, keychains, and every other stupid thing they need to feel pretty. So I did what any good husband would do....I went onto Tackle Warehouse and dropped $200 on some LC Pointers, a ton of Reage Tails, Owner Twistlocks, line, and some Koppers. Than I bought a Powell off of the flea market for $100, and just pick up some Hart Shocker tubes from Hart tackle. So I definitely feel your pain about having a light wallet. I have to deal with my wifes ridiculous purse fetish, and the stinkin bait monkey.
  17. Ditto. The 6'10" MHF Lowrider is a sweet rod. I had one until my door ate it last year.
  18. Although I don't wear the models that they offer with the reel, Wiley-X are great glasses. You can't go wrong with FREE
  19. I wacky rig just about every plastic I have. Whether it is a fluke, trick worm, senko, power worm, I even wack rig tubes. My favorite is a V&M centipede in watermelon/gold flake.
  20. Out of those, I like the Lowrider. It is a great rod. Also in that price range, check out the Shimano Compre. Next to Powells, Lowriders, and Avids, they are a close second considering the price difference. I have 2 Compre spinning rods and they are sensitive enough to do all of my finesse fishing with.
  21. Funny you say that because I have caught fish on every other trick worm I have used except the Zoom. I use/have used tons of trick worms. I have 2 bags of Zoom trick worms and have used them over and over with no bites. They look and act no different than the others but I just cant catch a fish with them. I no longer keep them with me when fishing. Send them to me, I'll catch the fish for you.
  22. I've heard good things about the Okuma swimbait rods, and the Diawa Light and Tough rod is on sale at Tackle Warehouse. Both are around $100.
  23. Not a big racing fan at all, but he definitely can turn left really well.
  24. Just use iron sights, unless you plan on shooting stuff more than 100 yards with it.
