  1. i fish a 12 acre run-off lake so i guess that's my pond..lol! It's all about finesse for me 1.Ragetail Menace....Awesome small water bait 2.1/4 ounce small Indiana blade spinnerbait 3.1/4 ounce tri-vibe Strike King buzzbait 4.Spro Littlejohn crankbait 5. a trout worm or crappie worm on a dropshot-this is easily the best bait i have that will simply just catch bass..mostly small but an occasional 4 or 5 lber
  2. Stopped using them a few years ago..6yrs. ago they were the rage here...the bass seemed to get ''conditioned'' to them on my lake last couple years...now the rage bait is from Yamamoto also..the Fat Ika
  3. My fav. way is to dead stick or dropshot them..it's boring as heck..but it works
  4. It is still my #1 go to bait for the bigger girls..but i have been fishing smaller bodies of water with females that don't get bigger than 4 lb. I ended up using a Rage Menace more than anything this season
  5. Rage Lizards Rage Menaces Floating Jerkbait
  6. Motor oil and red
  7. Here you can get them all year, but right about now it's really ''taking off''
  8. With Summer coming mainly topwater then fat ika in morning then reverse if fishing in the evening
  9. X2 The best bait that might come closest to is a dropshot roboworm
  10. Nothing beats a dropshot wacky rigged 5' Senko...at least around here.

Pop R pops when i need it to pop..and spit when i need it to spit..no need for an expensive lure..and yes i have had the pricey ones and not much of a difference
  12. Never had much luck with them in our pre-spawn here..early Summer late May to early July when i have best results
  13. i have had a few higher priced lures in the past...i make decent money but can't buy lots of these lures...was too paranoid throwing them in tight spots...seen one guy who had a $150.00 trout lure and hooked into a nice bass that wrapped it and lost the lure..he just bought it...to me,that's just crazy

  15. Still have alot here at home...my fav. lipless for shallow fishing and love the red eye for deep fishing.
  16. When topwatering on any small body of water i use the buzzking from strike king...the blades create a more subtle sound that doesn't spook as many fish
  17. A topwater along docks for me in the morning..popper or a buzzbait
  18. I know any one color doesn't work all the time...but what is the colors that seem to get the bass to strike your lures and soft plastics most often while on their beds ? In stained and clear water?
  19. 1. Buzzbait-got my 1st couple topwater fish of the season today on a buzzbait...it begins! 2. Zell Pop 3. Zara Spook
  20. Topwater early morning-buzzbait
  21. LOL! My eyes are fine..i agree everyone has a right to their opinion...but they barely cut any glare....i guess California just has more glare than most places..lol!
  22. Purchased 2 pair of these sunglasses(amber and grey) based on good reviews..now i didn't expect them to be Costa quality..but at least better than most glasses in the same price range..i'll just say don't believe it! Hardly cut any glare..my cocoons are better than these(and i'm not a fan of them either) Returning these and gonna get a pair of Costa's before spawn gets going.
  23. If i had only one bait to throw during the whole spawn process it would be a fat ika..i a'm already killing them on my local lake(not much bigger than a large pond) just an amazing bait!
  24. Not my best year...5 1/2lb. on a Strike King Tri-Vibe Buzzbait
  25. I'm stocked up for the season..just looking forward to seeing the current best bass angler Brent Ehrler at my local bps
