My thoughts are about the same as M and M's..I found that throwing a 2 oz swimbait is No easy chore, my back was killin me this morning..lol However, I love being on the water, as draining as it is sometimes, I obviously keep going back for more... ;D

I will toss a spinner bait anytime. Usually it's the first bait I thow when I start fishing..8 times outtta 10, I get bit..Lately it's been tough to catch a fish on a spinner bait for some reason, although I must say, where I've been fishing there hasn't been much action on anything. Slow rollin a spinner over weeds works great for me, usually..lol

I've seen lots of guys using them..mostly for swimbaits. I just bought a Cardiff 201A, with the shimano Calcutta rod CLC-X76M, haven't caught any fish with it yet..hopefully tomorrow..

I have the brown, black and purple weights..can't say that they work any better than the regular bullet weights...but..they look good..lol

Be a good idea to check the brake, see how many pins are active, on my Cardiff, which is a round bc..I have 4 active out of six..I also keep my spool fairly loose..

Ragetail craw...dipped in JJ's..I do cut some of the craw off so it doesn't overwhelm the jig..
