I fish pretty swift current in the maumee river. I use small size rebel wee craws, with the hooks replaced lol. Rebel pop-r, 1/8oz sk buzzbait in black. Some local hand poured tubes with 1/16th up to 3/16oz shakey heads instead of the tube jigs and flukes.

I have fished the river run every year since I was 12. I live in Maumee and I love it. The river is awesome smallie fishery in the summer as well. I wade it.

I got three today and my two friends also got 3 as well.

I am leaving Ohio in April and going there for vacation. Is there any good bass fishing in the area? I figure I would ask some of the people who live near there.

Where do you get discounts at and how much, I am just curious as I live in OH and would like to know before I shell out money. Plus I dont have a boat and or fish tournaments. I would like to however.

I wasnt a fan of the mojo rods, I really liked the crucials out of all the rods ive owned. I am gonna get the new crucials or try the new phenix recon rods.

As weird as this sounds, I currently down have any rods, I sold them all and I am gonna try new ones lol. I had them on combos of 6'9 ML to 7'2 M spinning rods.

I had a sustain 2500 that was stolen and I loved it, I replaced it with two stradic 2500 ci4s which I love more. I had a saros I gave to my brother good reel, sahara was nice and the symetre which are all nice, but if you can go there, the ci4 is awesome.

Looking for reviews on the Phenix Recon series, as I am contemplating purchasing some.

I am going to treat myself to a nice rod or three lol and I was looking at these two rods, I have always wanted a cumara and I have read a lot of positive from the ALX rods. Anybody here fished both? I know the cumara has a large following around the bass fishing forums. I am looking at fishing texas rigs and jigs with the rod.

If I were to try a nice Daiwa reel, which one should I get? On a side not if we are comparing reels of all the ones I have my Lews Tournament Pro is my favorite. It outcasts my curados in distance and light weight rigs no problem. I will add more of them to my collection.

He says barely used because he has so many reels that he is getting rid of them. I just have never tried a Daiwa reel and wanted to give one a shot. I dont know if I will do it, but at some point I will get one maybe to try.

How do they compare vs each other. I get the whole daiwa vs shimano debate and braking is different. I may have a chance to trade two of my unused new curados for a couple used fuegos. Is the value of a fuego used on par with a bnib curado e7?

Finally had a day off, I havnt touched an airbrush in months maybe almost 6. Here is what I came up with. Hope you like it I will paint some more stuff this week while I am on vacation.

After using the citica's I got for the first time, I think I may like them more than the curado. They casted everything the curado did with no problems. Maybe I am just nuts, but the second time around with the curados I am happy, as it was a better price and I think the first time I got a dud. All in all I got some nice reels for a nice price. I still like my lews tournament pros better though.

I use a 6'9'' MH XFast rod with a 7:1 curado and 17lb flourocarbon or 30lb braid.
