  1. Our legal system needs some revamping, stuff like this really makes me mad. Big business can steal and screw all over the little guys even though they know they are in the wrong. The try and use litigation as a stall tactic.
  2. I would say a rod with a nice moderate-medium action whatever length is comfortable for you. The for reel, again your preference from 5:1 -6.4:1 ratio.
  3. watermelon seed
  4. Thats sucks man, I have some spinnerbaits I would sell you if you want.

    These look great Marty!
  6. The pro qualifier is better in every aspect. I had a couple extremes and they were solid reals. I now own mostly pro qualifiers and they are a darn nice reel.
  7. I own a mojo and some compres by shimano, and I would take the compre over the mojo everytime!
  8. Having owned all three, I would go... 1. Patriatch, 2. Curado, 3. HSTA, but thats just my opinion. Go to a tackle shop and do the hold test, see if they will let you mount it on a rod and how you think it feels.
  9. Rods on a budget, Shimano Convergence : nice rod and has a lifetime warranty this is in the 50$ range. The Shimano Clarus is around 70$ has a lifetime warranty and is another awesome rod. They both won best budget rods in thier price class in the bassmaster magazine. I have also used both and they are great for the money.
  10. They look awesome as always! I wish I could paint like that! I think I need airbrush school lol!
  11. I go to the hardware store and get a can of 100% silicon spray. I think its the same things as KVD but you get a ton of it at a cheaper price. It was in a kvd book a read a while back.
  12. I love my pro qualifiers! I sold my curado e5 and a couplr of my quantums and I have almost all PQ's a carbonlite and a Patriarch.
  13. Thanks, and I just realized I pulled a jerk move and totally hijacked your thread lol! Sorry about that.
  14. My wife just had our kid 3 days ago and he was 7 weeks early. He is in the nicu.
  15. I hate you LOL! I need to practice more!!!!! I will have to put my painting on the backburner for a little bit though!
  16. Tried every color senko I have and not a single bite.
  17. Looks awesome, I am jealous!
  18. I thought about trying this, and also "power shoting" with like 17lb flouro and getting into the thick stuff. I want to throw my bbz-1, but I am terrified to loose a 20$ bait. If I were fishing from a pond hopper which I hope to be able to soon I would have no problem.
  19. I will try some topwater, I also will have to use my polarized clip on lenses for me glasses. I think that will help me see down a little bit better.
  20. Ok, I am shore locked here, I have tried spinnerbaits, and texas rigged tubes which seem to be the most successful. From the there there is a lot of deep ledges with submerged trees/bushes/stumps. This is an idea of what I am working with. What other things should I try to throw? What would you guys do. I am trying to think outside the box here, but no such luck. Ive tried jerkbaits/jigs/Cranks and they all snag up way to easy. Even while using 50lb braid and texas rigged plastics I still get hung up in stuff and break off. The water is also super clear.
  21. Looks good! I really like the firetiger one a lot. I would fish both both of them.
  22. I like it Dave, it looks very nice. I am using milk jug plastic and cutting out patterns with an exacto knife. I will try that also using masking tape on it so I can get that softer edge.
