Fishing slow is the best advice that I have heard. The fish slow down a little in the cold weather, so fish them slower.

In the coming year I want to: 1. Learn where to find fish, and what to throw at different times. 2. Different Techniques. 3. Fish as often as possible. Especially during the summer months.

Alabama is the better team, and I hope that they stomp the Gators. But Florida just flat out always finds a way to win. Oh, and they have some guy throwing the rock who I heard was pretty decent......

Completely depends on the water. If the fish are going to need a little "help" to find the bait, then I like the rattle to give a little more vibration through the water.

Sorry, I guess I should have been a little more specific on some things. I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I also don't want to take the cheap route, and have to buy a new one by the end of the year. I already have the gear to fish creeks, which is what I have been doing over the past few years, so I will be moving out onto larger bodies of water. As it looks right now, I will still be shore bound with the occasional chance to get out on a boat.

Next year I am wanting to upgrade from my UL creek gear up to a combo that would be more suitable for larger tackle. I was hopping that I could get some help and hear some opinions on what to buy. It will be used for pretty much all tackle applications and will probably become my go-to setup. Thanks.

I don't prefer to use live bait. But I don't feel that it is cheating. I still have not caught a bigger bass on artificial bait than I did on live bait.

Couldn't agree more. Vick should not have been given a second chance. I agree. But, if you don't allow Vick back in. What do you do about Stalworth? Hes still is banned from the league.

Lizards have accounted for a decent portion of my fish caught this year. I prefer the 4" Zooms for my creek fishing.
