  1. I guess it could be real, but something about that fish just doesn't look quite right to me.
  2. This has somewhat been tried by just passing one lure. I believe that it worked last year, but apparently the guy who has the lure right now hasn't posted in the past couple of months and still has the lure.
  3. Well, guess the poor guy couldn't find a good fishing buddy with a boat.
  4. Not by you and that beard, good sir.
  5. I know when I was a kid I had almost zero fun when fishing with artificial lures. I just wasn't able to grasp the concept of working the bait. So, my dad would always just give me a box of nightcrawlers, and I could sit on the dock for a couple of hours and be happy until I ran out of worms.
  6. That's a hawwwwgggggg.
  7. I have some pink Zoom flukes that I have fished. As stated before in this thread, I think color is more of a confidence thing the majority of the time. The only color factor I feel for the most part is dark vs. light/flashy, depending on the conditions.
  8. Personally, I feel that angle of the bill is the next biggest factor in diving depth next to the length of the bill.
  9. Perhaps fish somewhere other than your bath tub or that puddle on the street corner? Oh, and if you would have bought like 50 you would have already caught fish. So, your the baitmonkey.
  10. fish a lot of tournaments, and get your name out there.
  11. I am a fairly avid golfer and know many of the owners of courses in my area. I haven't fishes the ponds, but I have asked if I could. It is all about that particular course on if they care or not. Most will be alright with it, but make sure to ask first.
  12. Dang!!! Too bad this will be gone. We had a principal in high school who was a very stern, no nonsense, administrator. But, once you got to know him, under that veneer, he was really a softie. The above post made me think of him. I've had some teachers like that.
  13. 3.5 inch. I haven't found one brand that is any more productive than another, personally. The same with the jig heads. I do like the yellow colored heads, though.
  14. When you got to go, you got to go.
  15. You've never seen a black and blue trailer?
  16. They bro out. He goes over to his house and plays xbox, eats ice cream, then walks on the beach.
  17. IMO, you should try to rig them weedless instead of going to a bendy hook.
  18. Sounds a lot like where I fish. Try to walk along the bank when you are able to. Especially around the holes where you think there might be fish. Also, try some tubes if you are familiar with fishing them. I have just got into fishing them, and the creek bass seem to love them.
  19. Lily pads and grass beds are a tie for me.
  20. I have ordered from Cabelas with no problems. I have a BPS about twenty or thirty minutes away, so there is no need for me to order anything when I can just buy from the store.
  21. Do you really like carrying around those two huge boxes?
  22. I never order anything from BPS. I have one 20-30 mins from my house, so if I really need something from them I can make the drive to go pick it up.
  23. I can also highly recommend Rebel Crawfish. I don't know if I have ever used them without having luck.
  24. Great thread there. I have tried everything, but that thread gave me more information than I have ever been able to gather on Tubes. Bookmarked indeed.
  25. That's awesome! I'm excited for a few of those products.
