Who's fishing Pink??

Featured Replies

I know that no one likes t call it pink, rather bubblegum, etc but fish seem to be attracted to pink. I have senkos, tubes and flukes in the boat all pink . So far only fished the senkos and they do produce. Anyone else fish that color?

My mom bought me some pink cranks for my birthday because she thought they were "cute." Haven't tried them yet.

never once have i fished, or even owned, a pink bait........

maybe im missing something.....for real though, should i try this...

junebug works wonders for me here in FL.

I have a pink and chart spinnerbait that's killer during the prespawn! I've caught more 5+ pounders on that bait during that time than any other bait!  :D

Looks like finesse fishing pink seems to work. I fish weighted or non weighted t-rig . They have been slamming these worms. Local shop had some but they get torn up really quick. Just bought some Bass pro tournament senko. Seem to be more durable.

Never fished the Bubblegum color but in a fluke I have fished the Electric Chicken color which majority of the color in Electric Chicken is pink and it works great on overcast days here in Fl.

    Yup.

It's called a bubblegum Trick Worm.

The best color IMO for weightless wormin'

Bought a bag of Trick Worms in uuhhh....wellll....uuhhh....you know....uuhhh....that color we won't name :D. Tried them in some small ponds I fish and did pretty good. You can rig Trick Worms a number of ways. T-rigged and weightless they make a GREAT topwater and with them being pink you can see them real well. Fun bait...

I got some red/pink silver flake grubs in a grab bag of baits from Mr twister website for $1.20 once. I got 3 of them and the first day i tried them the bass were killing it. I don't see this color anymore. They had a pink inner color with a see thru red color on the outside plus the silver flakes.

I just had clark custom lures manufacture me some Pearl / Pink sunfish crankbait lures to match the live ones i caught. His workmanship is excellent.  He made them exactly what i explained to him.

color is the least important part of selecting a bait... if one color is working, so will another.  many times it's more about confidence, and what we think we 'know' about when to use certain colors that affect our ability to use them.

I love pink sluggos. The fish kill them.

I've been fishing pink floating worms for years actually one of my tourney secret baits. Any time of the year on any body of water wacky rig and skip'em under overhanging STUFF .. then HOLD ON .. it's cool to watch it change direction Remember some of the best things in life are PINK!!! ;D ;D

I like merthiolate versus pink, but my favorite is bright opaque red.  I do know several people who swear by pink flukes though.

I've caught fish on pink, but haven't used one since last year.

Worms wacky rigged on the Jackall Wacky Jig Heads have been producing well, especially yesterday.  Headed out about ten, and will have to give them a try.

Yesterday I tried four distinctly different colors, and they all produced.  Anxious to see what the pink does today.

Weather conditions about the same, cloudy with light winds.  The only difference is light showers for today, none yesterday.

I think the showers should make the fishing better.  Hope I'm correct.

My fishing partner has a Pink Wiggle Wart. He embarasses me every time he pulls it out becasue he catches more fish then I do. Go figure

Sounds like some physical malady.

He pulls out his Pink Wiggle Wart? Never heard it called that before.

In the early 90's "bubblegum" was my go to color on Toledo Bend.

Replaced with Merthiolate :D
