  1. straight up or mixed with coke...blahhhh, who am I kiding, I drinbk it straight then follow thru with a jack & coke chaser. A shot of Capt. Morgan chased with squirt leaves an aftertaste of an orange cream pop :-?
  2. WoW this is a sweet rod.... How much can I get one built for? I really like the aluminum the grips but I would want a 66MF.
  3. I like Booyah and T-2's...
  4. The Curado has a driveshaft bearing and bearing packs in the crank knobs. The Citica can have all this added for about $60 extra....Buy the Curado and you get a light weight spool and save about $20. But to upgrade the driveshaft bearing in the Citica would only cost about 15 and is well worth it... The reel Mechanic told me he felt no Difference in the crank with bearings vs. the stock crank. I upgraded the crank in my Citica to get bigger grips as the stock ones made my fingers cramp. But I'm 6'2" with long lanky fingers.
  5. 56 bones total for the upgrade.. It is now the Citica that "thinks" its a Curado...It at least cost the same as one. My next reel purchase will be the Curado 201E7
  6. Core 50mg strapped to a St. Croix Avid AVC70MHF Spooled with Yo-zuri 12lb
  7. The Citica has done me well this past season... And to show my appreciation I had its Drive shaft upgraded with a bearing and added a Core 100mgfv crank... All done by The Reel Mechanic...
  8. Nope, I never unplug my L.E.D lights... I Installed them this year and have had zero problems.
  9. Is that like a restore? or not Yep, system restore. Folks - the question was how to fix the problem, not what browser should I use. Let's keep it on topic please. Sorry, but That was my suggestion on "fixing the problem". It was how I fixed my problems with IE.
  10. I agree, it would be better in clusters..
  11. X10 I wont go back to IE.... I have had ZERO problems since converting to Fire Fox
  12. I bought one earlier this year in 7/8oz Ghost perch I believe . But It hasn't left my plano yet .
  13. Yeah, we haven't got any yet. I hope it stays that way..
  14. I'm not sure but I don't think Sony would allow a brand new PS3 to sell that cheap... I worked at an electronic store and the most I could get was a 1 dollar off.
  15. I always use the Trilene knot on my Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits and Cranks.. I use the Palomar on every thing else. http://www.animatedknots.com/trilene/index.php
  16. I like your native setup. The drift wood really sets it off.
  17. Wow that is a beast..... A nice way to start a holiday
  18. On a bait caster I use approx 6ft of fluorocarbon anywhere from 6-20# test.. It drives me nuts to have the knot reach the reel as it hurts my thumb on long hard casts. I just use my arms stretched out to measure the line.
  19. If the stars have no meaning, then why are they there? I have seen white, yellow and blue stars. Some people have 5 white and some have two blue, etc. I did not see anything in the FAQs about the stars. In all honesty I don't really care about post count or stars, I'm just curious.
  20. HAPPY THANKSGIVING BASSRESOURCE MEMBERS

    I'm sorry to hear that.....
  22. IT does not matter if I caught 20 or nothing, If someone asks me how I did I will say, " I caught a couple keepers" or "I caught a few nothing special". If it is someone I know then I tell them the straight up stretched truth.
  23. I know that I would much prefer the foot control over the hand held remote. I need my hands free for fishing and my foot driving. I like being able to control my boat while retrieving a spinner bait or jigging a jig. Helps me keep 100% focused at the task at hand, like feeling a subtle bite. I can pretty much know where I'm directing my boat just by feel from the position of my foot, without looking or thinking where my motor is pointed. Even using the weak sloppy piece of degraded mounted to the bow of my boat called a trolling motor, I still was good at moving though slop( even though I was cleaning it off the motor every 2 minutes), docks and skiers. Just had to know how to adjust for the play in the mount. Although I do think the remote is a very cool concept for boat control, and I understand why one would like it over the foot control. Thank you all for the Great replies and very good helpful information. Keep it Coming
  24. I'd fish it... What kind of fishing line are you using? It looks like rope....
  25. Yeah, I have read a few comments on other sites saying that once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze... But if it has a slow reaction time, I'm not game for it. Are you able to make very small Minuit adjustments in the steering? To be able to Turn ever so slightly?
