  1. You wont regret it... I love my Avid
  2. I would put speakers in the holes, but only if you can run and hide the speaker wires to them by any means.. Clarion makes some great marine radios with stainless steel cages...( I have installed a few)
  3. Reeling with the right or left hand is the same to me. I went with Left hand reels because it just felt weird having the rod in my left hand...I felt like I was upside down trying to set the hook or hopping a jig with my left...
  4. so you disconnect it when fishing? LOL I try not to disconnect it, but I keep running out of extension cord. ;D He was asking about leaving it connected to the batteries at all time...not the wall outlet.
  5. This is my way as well

  7. I have the 7'MH and love it.. It is my spinnerbait rod and I have no plans of upgrading..... Light and Very sensitive. I can feel the blade on the bait turn on a slow roll perfectly...I am going to buy another one of the same model for pitching... 8-)

I highly doubt that he had someone on the "inside", but who knows. Many Cabelas checkers and customer service are women. Do you honestly think the majority of those women would know the difference between a $20 rod and a $500 one? I am not sexist and I know there are some women out there that know a Steez from an Ugly Stick, but for the most part... they don't. It seems most of the stealing was from Cabelas, and I know Cabelas tracks returns. When you return an item to Cabelas they ask for your Drivers License and I am sure the information is put into a database. If you think about it 19,000 could only be 30-40 items possibly even less. Ah I see, said the blind man...
  9. So your saying this rod would be good for throwing shallow running bomber, bandits, DT7 DT9s, or L.C 1.5, 2.5 or 2.5dd most of the time? Would the cbr845 cast the lighter baits good? Everyone will have an opinion on a brand. For a crankbait rod you want a Moderate Action. For deep runners usually a MH power might be better and can be used for traps. Anything 16 foot or less a Medium Power will do. The key is a Moderate Action crankbaits regardless of the brand. When selecting a rod also pay attention to rating on lure weights. Everyone has their brand preferance. Right on... I just can't decide if I want a M or MH. I realize to be most effective I need both. I just want a good rod to start out with, something that will cast the lighter baits(1/4oz) good and still use baits that go to about 15'deep effectively...

I think he had someone on the inside to gank $19,000 worth of goods from one store..... Also how would the store know he scammed $19,000 worth of merchandise and not stop him before it reached that amount....Did they keep track of his scams over time on a flow chart and just not do anything about it?

I just got these reels at a very good deal........SYKE!!!!
  16. Do you think throwing shallow to med cranks on the MH would be ok.... you should be ok but the flip side to this is those style of cranks tend to be on the lighter side. the Falcon Original Cast 7' Med Hvy i think would make a great rod for a blend of big and small. this series of rod is IMO a little lighter than what the rod rating states. you wont be wore out on big cranks and with a good reel should be able to toss 3/16 baits ok. http://www.***.com/descpageCASTFALCON-FOGC.html# I'm gonna have to get one of these in my hands and see what it feels like...I want a good strong rod and it just seems like a Medium action rod would be to light to go from L.C 1.5 to a DT9 or 10..I just bought the Fuego from TW and it will be here monday. The falcon MH 7' might be the rod I'm looking for...1/4oz to 3/4oz seems perfect over the Crucials 3/8oz - 1oz rating And cheaper

  18. For $300 you can get 2 Citica's off Ebay shipped and have $100 left over to buy another casting rod. Than you have two nice setups to learn on.
  19. Has anybody ever used the mentioned Crucial crank-bait rods?
  20. OK looking for opinions on a Rod and Reel I am planning to buy... I plan on using mostly shallow to med diving Baits. Maybe a DD22 once and awhile if duty calls. I am going to buy the Daiwa Fuego that TW has on sale and strap that to a Shimano Crucial CRC-C70MH or should I go with the CRC-C70M and just use my Mojo 7'mh for the DD22's.. Other rod suggestions are appreciated as I am new to Crank-baits.. I'm am going to mainly focus on cranking this coming year.
  21. There is a button (Dealer locations)at the top right corner that I thought would be the ticket... But it is discontinued now

  23. the Core cranks will also fit....
