Are all Mojo Bass Rods this crappy or did I just get a bad one???
I have the 7' MH spinner bait rod and it feels like I am trying to cast with a fence post.... It works great for pitching but it is just so tip heavy I feel like I'm gonna loose my grip when trying to cast... It will be replaced soon with a Compre, Crucial or Avid in the very near future.

Buying reels on EBay???
I know why they are expensive....I would just go to bass pro and not pay that $$$ shipping fee instead of them... I bought 2 brand new Citica 201e's for $170 shipped from a top rated Ebay seller, also got a New Stradic 2500fi for $125 shipped. That's good for you- I'm several HOURS from BPS so I'm all about shipping. But the buffer zone is a good thing, like . . having all the lakes to myself. A-Jay I'm less than five mins from bass pro and I wont buy anything from there... Not when I can get everything for less money shipped to my door..... Why pay $188 shipped for a Shimano CU201e7 from that simmons place when you can get it for $145 shipped... that's all I'm saying

Adhesive Removal
WD-40 work great for removing black strap caulk, tar, gunky stuff out of cloth seats and clothes. Goo-Gone Is the best at removing adhesives.. I have a big bottle that has lasted ten years now, and still going strong.

Boat carpet
i just did a 17.5' bass tracker And I used a total of 31' x 6' with just a little bits and peices of scraps left over(about 6' x 2' total)... I went with BassCat 24oz bass boat carpet and paid only $8.00 per foot + 59.99 shipping.. At that price it is cheaper than Cabella's best Ultimate carpet and WAY BETTER. This carpet is amazing!!! Absolutely Beautiful and Durable.. You will love it..... www.basscat.com I suggest you buy 25'-30'... Measure it and then measure it again, then buy extra.

My Bass Tracker ProCrappie175 Rebuild...
OK here is a few pics of the project I got going on....I am installing new wood, carpet, trolling motor, steering wheel..... I don't have any "before" pictures on hand but you can just Google 2005 BassTracker Procrappie175 and see if you wish.... The boat was in fair condition, I just wanted to redesign it a little Removing the front minnow well and the enclosed part of the rod locker for easy access to my rods. And adding a full rear fishing platform... The rear platform will be fully welded Aluminum construction.... I am almost done with it, more Pics to come in the days ahead.... 8-)

do you think using only spinning reels is not "popular"
Nope, not at all do I think that... Fishing is in no way a popularity contest.... You fish with what makes you happy...

Trailer security
yup... but as long there is no sign of an alarm present(L.E.D warning light, stickers, etc) your good to go... They will just attempt to break in and then your alarm will sound... If you have a two-way remote it will vibrate or beep when your alarm goes off and is a big plus..... A motion sensor will detect them trying to get under the boat cover before they actually do, another big plus. The most important thing is to not have the alarm system mounted under the console with easy access to unplug or cut the wire harness... Have it hide behind a panel that has to be unscrewed/bolted to get to it... I'm planning on doing all this to my boat in the near future but also adding a back-up battery to the system.

Trailer security
I have been Installing alarms in boats and cars for over 15yrs... I could do it.. Even if you had a back-up battery or radar, motion or tilt sensor I could still do it... And If you have a Remote Start in your tow vehicle, it is already hot wired and security bi-passed for me... Someone has to be around for the alarm to be a success. But a two-alarm would help that. Please note that I am not a thief and believe in karma..
