  1. Hoping to make this one. Been trying for years.
  2. Pics or it didn't happen lol. Just kidding, mine shipped out yesterday. Can't wait to get em.
  3. Koppers Live Target. Had a bluegill with the paint chipping on the first use of it. Contacted them and they took good care of the problem. ***. Emailed them about a rod and had a response within an hour from 2 seperate employees. Good service in my book.
  4. Thanks for the reply and the info. Looking at it, I may have answered it lol. I've actually got a Cumara M/F laying around I could use for the squarebill's and lipless baits. I think I'll get the MH/M for those deep cranks and see how it goes with all of them. Thanks again for the info and insight.
  5. In a cranking rod debate. I'm in the market for a cranking rod in attempt to tackle the following, squarebills, lipless baits, some jerkbaits, and deep divers (DT's). Will be using baits that are no less than 1/4oz and no more than 3/4oz. The rods I've looked at so far (clarus and compre), the M rod is rated for 1/4oz-5/8oz baits, and the MH is rated for 3/8oz to 1oz baits. Which one do you think I'll end up better in the long run with? Or if anyone has suggestions on another rod, I'm open to suggestions. Plan on fishing everything from open water to moderate cover. Trying to keep my numbers under $100. Thanks.
  6. I throw the black on black.
  7. I too am going to try LH baitcasters this year. Had a traumatic injury to my left hand/arm recently and how I don't have enough wrist rotation to palm my reels, so my left hand is left to reel with. Really hope it works.
  8. I 100% will always buy Live Target baits. They're top quality and they're customer service is 2nd to none. Bought a bait a couple years ago and the finish started peeling after the first use. Emailed them with photos of the bait, and they took care of the issue in no time at all. You won't regret buying a few.
  9. Palaniuk just tied Cherry
  10. +1 vote for the 580 Green glass Costa's. I've a pair in each color and I've noticed the green ones are kind of a multi-purpose pair. Find myself wearing those 90% of the time.
  11. Chris Lane pretty sure.
  12. I have 4 of them that I've had for a couple of years. Never had any issues out of them. I pick them up when they go on sale for $25. DVT, I may be sending in my E7's and Citica's to be cleaned in the near future. I can slip one of them in the package if you'd like to take a look into one.
  13. Spinnerbait H2O Squarebill Senko
  14. I had one of the older ones on my .17 and had not so good luck with it. Got a Mueller APV 4.5-14X40 and like it so far. Got it for around 130ish last year.
  15. I'd say 85-90% of my cranks are H2O's. Can't beat em for the price, I tried a handful of their lipless models and just didn't like them, think I may have gotten a few bad ones. The rest of them have been great.
  16. I have a couple of those allstar rods. Got them on sale for $25. They're not bad but if you're paying full retail and wanting a rod in that price range, I personally would try Academy's H2O Ethos blue rods.
  17. Spro Lil Johns, and H2O's are my favorites.
  18. Another vote for Aruku Shad.
  19. You sir, are my new hero...
  20. Spare reels, just 1, in my tackle bag in the boat. Total setups I take are 8 so it's never been used and will probably end up being a setup soon lol. I've been in the same situation with not wanting anymore reels, but I find myself buying one or so whenever I find a good deal. I figure It's better to have them and not need them, then to need them and not have them.
  21. Good deal indeed. Congrats on your purchase!
  22. Where in the world did you find Curado's that cheap?!
  23. 2 more H2O Mettle reels at $25 each and 2 allstar cranking rods at $25 each.
