Search Sticky
I understand the frustration with searching through repetitive threads to find fresher subjects; however, this is a forum. If everyone searched for every subject that had ever been posted the membership as a whole would have much less to talk about. Maybe laziness isn't the only reason for these threads. Some people probably prefer communicating with someone in the present, rather than going back and reading an old thread. I, personally, don't participate in a lot of the repetitive threads if another member is providing the answers that the original poster is seeking, but I will make a post if no one provides a response to a question.

2009 The Pennants are flying and the Trash is almost in view!
;D CJ, you're killin' me. So, I'm a Cardinal fan first but I've followed the Royals since the late 70s too. How about Greinke . . . 5 wins 0 losses with a 0.50 ERA, two complete games, and 44 strikeouts. I always thought the kid could be good but if this continues the American League Cy Young Award is his to lose.

Flippin' & Pitchin' with a spinning outfit ?
These were posted quite awhile back by someone. I googled it and thought it was worth posting again. This guy is very accurate using the pitching technique and spinning gear. Sorry, I had to add an extra link showing how accurate this guy is.

help! Buying a new Shimano tomorrow, sustain or stradic?
Exactly. Based on your comments in the first post, buy the Stradic. You'll be very happy with it. However, if your really want the better reel, and not the better buy, purchase the Sustain.

Boat Maintenance
These are one way distances to the ramp: Caney Creek(Sam Rayburn) 3 hrs. Frontier Park (Toledo Bend) 3 1/2 hrs. Stowaway (Conroe) 1 1/2 hr This is the closest to me of all East Ramp(Lk Nacog.) 3 hr. Lake Palestine 4 hr. these are just a few. As you can see there is nothing close to me. Each weekend is a 3-5 hour tow to the lake and back. Lots of miles. Thanks. I know you are an avid tournament angler so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something that I should be doing.

What milk do you drink
I've been drinking skim milk for ages, but like others growing up in the 60s and 70s, I drank a lot of whole milk and 2%.

Boat Maintenance
Fishfordollars, I've changed bearings and races on my trailer wheels but never as often as you are doing it. Twelve - eighteen months is a short time period between replacements for me. Do you put a lot of miles or time in the water on your wheels ?
