I got mine in '89. There is a small percentage of people who have "minor" complications. When I got mine I think the figure was something like 20 people in 1000. I was one of those 20 but it still isn't that big of a deal. Your jewels swell up like grapefruits and you have to walk like John Wayne for a few days but that's about it for the minor complications. Back then they made about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch cut on each side to cut the vas deferens. Now they can make a tiny hole and go in and the incidence of complications has been reduced.

The internet has everything which is both an advantage and a curse. There is great information to be had and there is bogus information on every subject, including fishing. The key is to sift through the information and determine what is good and what is B.S. I think that sites such as this one help immensely to find the good information regarding bass fishing.

Reading the article about this, Genmar is not in such bad shape that they can't survive. A chapter 11 reorganization to take care of financing should keep them in the hunt for awhile. Ranger, Champion, and Stratos are good products as are some of their other boats. I hope they pull through.

Congrats to Dwight! This is a cool contest. I signed up but I had forgotten that I was going to be gone on vacation for half the month of May. My stepson's wedding was in Panama City Beach, Florida and we made a vacation out of it. (No fishing during that time period, unfortunately.) I didn't manage to catch anything in late April or early May that was big enough to compete so I didn't post a catch.
