  1. What style and colors do you use of Roboworms? I am interested in picking some up. I found their website and the worms look pretty good. I like the ribs sticking out of the sides. Thanks
  2. AWESOME! The women I meet are helping me out with this problem. 8-)
  3. Hey everyone, with some many people giving suggestions kind of curious to see what has been the best advice you have taken from here, used, and been successful with.
  4. Alright, thanks for the advice fellows! I will spin the wheel of soft plastics and see what I come up with, hahah! One last thing, I have been looking through the BPS catalog trying to get a "spring order," put together and I have noticed the regular "ball," drop shot weights, but they also have some finesse weights. They are like just pegs if you will. Any opinions? Thanks!
  5. What size flukes and slug-gos? I am guessing like the tiny flukes? Also, have you tried using small tubes when drop shotting?
  6. Hey everyone! I wanted to see what you guys use/prefer when using drop shots, what plastics? I am going to finally start using this technique this season and wanted to get some ideas. (Sorry if this is a redundant question, I tried searching for this topic before posting just had problems with the search, I am on a very weak Internet signal here.)
  7. The only thing I got was laughed at by the fish I was trying to catch. But, I had a good time fishing!
  8. @slonezp Ok, now which snow drift is the beer under? That looks crazy there!
  9. Welcome to BR, there are some great people in here. Put your feet up and enjoy the time here.
  10. I almost took a job in Woodridge Ill earlier this month, now with this storm really glad I did not. Plus, I get to stay in my hometown now.
  11. Wow, I can not believe I forgot about that song! :'(
  12. I am saying "The Rover," followed closely by "Ten Years Gone."
  13. Mmm, been a long time for me fishing for trout. I use to all the time. Look up Mossy Creek, that is by land owners permission there. Maybe try the Tye river, South river (in Waynesboro), If you are going in the WV direction, try the Jackson River above Covington, but below Gathright Dam. That is a great place to fish, well use to be, there is a King's Land grant issue going on there now. Also, from the Shendoah area west to WV look for access to the Bull and Cowpasture rivers. They are suppose to be good, but I have not fished them.
  14. Good stuff there! Those are some great pictures!
  15. Yeah, I have an Exploder as I call them. For me, great in the snow, but no traction control makes it rough (1995). Any pictures of the snow anyone?
  16. Thanks for the suggestions! Come on spring!
  17. Ok everyone, it looks like Wednesday is going to approach 70 degree I gotta head out after work. Any recommendations for lures to throw? I know the water is still going to be cold, but the air will not and I have to go fishing!
  18. Yeah man, the Advantage I put on it is the only reel I currently have. My Curado is still at David's house and my Citica is being fixed and cleaned/lubed. It's kind of an odd combo, the Advantage is a pretty heavy reel. I can't wait to put the Curado on it. Wonder what a Core Mg50 would be like? ;D That is still going to be a sweet combo, Curado and Cumara. I got a 200E5 and it is probably my favorite reel.
  19. Ugh, now I want one! I have a 2009 Revo premier the one with 6SS ball bearings that weights about 6.35 oz. Good grief that would be nice to fish with!
  20. I think I am going today if I can get sometime. I'll let you know if I do head out to fish.
  21. I like the confidence! Another thing, a friend let me borrow a dvd with Mike Iaconelli "Advanced Finesse Bass Strategies." He talks some on the dvd about tube fishing, there was some good tips in there, you might want to check it out.
  22. I have heard the trick of putting them in empty coffee containers and letting them sit. Also, let me know how you do with those tubes. I am going to start fishing tubes this year and those looked pretty good. Thanks in advance.
  23. That is an outstanding reel! I have a Revo Premier (2009 model to be fair) and a year old Curado E5. It is going to be personal preference. My Revo casts a tick further, but something about the Curado I just have more faith in that reel. See if you can take that new rod to your local fishing store and see what reel you like better. Also, I did a quick search and it looks like the Curado is lighter then the Revo STX. That will make long days of fishing easier with a lighter reel.
